In the latest rankings update, [player_tooltip player_id='832594' first='Peyton' last='Daggett'] moved up from #37 to #26 thanks to an impressive sophomore season. She was first team all-Greater Oregon League as well as honorable mention all state at the 4A level. Daggett is an exciting player because she is already playing at such a high level, but still has such a high ceiling for potential. She is not just a two-way threat, but an all-around threat with her scoring ability, defensive intensity, vision, rebounding, athleticism, and more.

Another jumper in the rankings, South Albany's point guard [player_tooltip player_id='832637' first='Maddie' last='Angel'] moved up from #45 to #35. She was second team all-Mid-Willamette Conference and helped South Albany to a 3rd-place state finish in 5A. Angel is impressive athletically and a tenacious defender that creates a high volume of turnovers. She does an admirable job of setting the tone for her team and running their system.

Another player with tons of potential to continue to rise up the rankings, [player_tooltip player_id='832589' first='D'aye' last='Davidson'] has risen to #42 from her previous ranking of #53. With her 6'0 frame and elite athleticism, Davidson is a nightmare for opposing posts with her ability to run in transition, stretch the floor with her shot, as well as mix it up and get physical down low. She also has great footwork and finishing abilities around the rim. Davidson was first team all-Cowapa league last season.

A talented combo guard, [player_tooltip player_id='921629' first='Addy' last='Mendez'] is one of several impressive 2026s that will make West Salem a serious threat in 6A next season. She was honorable mention all-Central Valley Conference as a sophomore with her ability to run the offense and set the pace, shoot the ball at a high level, and wreak havoc on the defensive end. Mendez put up video game numbers in the steals category last season, often racking up 6, 7, or 8 steals in a single game, helping her move up from #68 to #52 in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='842740' first='Emma' last='Burlison'] is now sitting at #55 in the latest rankings, up from her previous rank of #72. Burlison earned second team all-Central Valley Conference for her impressive sophomore campaign. She is a big, physical wing who can shoot, handle the ball, and see the floor incredibly well on both ends. With a few key pieces graduating, Burlison will have an even bigger role for South Salem as she heads into her junior season.
