La Grande junior Peyton Daggett Peyton Daggett SG La Grande | 2026 State OR is athletic and consistently gets to the rim with a controlled finish. Daggett has good handles and can beat her defender with a hesitation and crossover. She quickly finds the open lane coast-to-coast for the layup. Daggett attacks the basket on the pass and can finish through traffic. She can post-up on her guard defender, get creative in the paint, and finish with a scoop layup. Daggett has a nice looking shot and hit a clutch three-pointer against rival Baker.

In the latest rankings update, Peyton Daggett Peyton Daggett SG La Grande | 2026 State OR moved up from #37 to #26 thanks to an impressive sophomore season. She was first team all-Greater Oregon League as well as honorable mention all state at the 4A level. Daggett is an exciting player because she is already playing at such a high level, but still has such a high ceiling for potential. She is not just a two-way threat, but an all-around threat with her scoring ability, defensive intensity, vision, rebounding, athleticism, and more.

The sophomore wing has been consistently showing out for the Tigers, giving them all-around performances that they have needed to sit atop the Greater Oregon League. In three recent games, she knocked down two 3-pointers to go for 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 steal against Baker; she had 8 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 assists against Pendleton; and she had an incredible 14-point, 9-rebound, 7-steal, 3-assist, and 1-block outing against Ontario. Daggett always plays at a high pace, has nice touch on her shot, and is a fierce defender. As this young star continues to get better and better, she will be one to watch out for.
