The prep season is loading and there are some incredible teams constructed in what's known to be one of the best conferences in the country. NEPSAC AA includes Austin Prep, Worcester Academy, Darrow, Newman, NMH, Winchendon, WMA, Storm King, Marianapolis and MacDuffie. Below are 5 key players mentioned from the powerhouse conference.

[player_tooltip player_id='428117' first='Ariana' last='Ingram'] (2025) | 5'8 PG/CG | Winchendon

The crafty and resourceful guard is entering her senior season determined to help lead her squad to success. Ariana serves as a facilitator that evenly distributes the ball, but possesses just enough scoring firepower to remain a threat from 3 levels. Defenders have to pick their poison because of her ability to be productive in various styles of play. Ingram plays at an effective tempo that's impactful in the halfcourt or in transition. Her strong stature allows her to absorb bumps on the defensive end and quick turning hips grant her the capacity make ballhandlers change their course. Keep an eye on Ariana, she can be a major contributor for Winchendon this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='354338' first='Selah' last='Prignano'] (2026) | 5'11 SF/PF | WMA

WMA is jumping into the Class AA this year and Prignano will be heavily relied upon throughout the season. Selah is coming into the year with a bunch of momentum after having a successful AAU run. She's a now a heavily recruited prospect that still has a high ceiling due to her sheer athleticism. Selah rounds out her game with remarkable finishing ability with both hands, a solid pull up jumper, excellent vision and stifling defense. Although Prignano is quickly ascending as a well-known talent, she'll provide that needed steadiness plus that will allow WMA to thrive.

[player_tooltip player_id='1049047' first='Isabella' last='Santana'] (2026) | 5'8 Wing | Storm King

Isabella is solid just about anywhere she is positioned on the floor. The versatile wing can serve as a secondary ballhandler that pushes the pace or station her at the attack points on the wing or even the high post and she can manipulate the defense. An attribute that really stands out is her passing ability. Santana is a gifted passer that throws leading passes that are on target, but also set teammates up for success. She's able to see plays a step before others and that skill is exceptionally useful at the many positions she's able to play. Isabella is also a strong defender that embraces contact while stopping players from penetrating the lanes. Isabella will be a major factor in Strom King's success.

[player_tooltip player_id='968012' first='Maeve' last='Early'] (2027) | 5'10 SF | Marianapolis

Maeve has tremendous all-around talent that provides a skillset that most teams would love to have. Early is player that has a terrific 3-point shot, a solid midrange, floaters, cuts without the ball and rebounds just as well as any big. Meave plays consistent basketball throughout the entirety of the game. She seems to never engage in a selfish style of play that isn't conducive to winning. She lets the game come to her and she fills the stat sheet. There just simply aren't too many players like her, especially in her class. She finds ways to affect the game, even at times when it's stagnant. Her ability to make a play out of nothing is something that is overlooked. Early is coming off an outstanding showing at the Rose Classic where she dominated against some top-level talent, proving she has been slightly underrated. Maeve is surely a player to follow this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='975783' first='Sophia' last='Goncalves'] (2028) | 5'9 CG | MacDuffie

Recently selected to play on the Brazilian National Team, Sophia is the sole freshman on this list, but she certainly has the chance to be special this year. She's a combo guard with the unparalleled ability to make shots off the dribble from deep range. Goncalves can create for herself from the 3-point and shoots without hesitation from far beyond the arc. This year she'll have a chance to bring some extra offensive firepower to a MacDuffie team that's looking to matchup with any team. Sophia will give the Mustangs the ability to play with the lineups with her being interchangeable at positions. Not only can she be impactful on offense, Goncalves is able to guard multiple positions securely too. Sophia's unique skillset could make her an important part of the squad this year. Look to hear her name a lot more this season.
