<p><strong>Clarendon Hall (Summerton)</strong>: The Lady Saints had quite a season a year ago. The Lady Saints finished (14-7) and runner up in the SCISA Class 2A State Championship to Cathedral Academy. Head Coach Johnny Horton did a great job of turning this program around. </p>

<p><strong>Crestwood HS (Dalzell)</strong>: The Lady Knights return several players this season in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='370272' first='London' last='Vaughn']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='571845' first='Saniya' last='Williams']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='370267' first='Javiah' last='Martin']</strong>. Vaughn has been a fixture here since her freshman season. Williams a fellow senior and Martin a left-handed guard will both look to provide some scoring punch this season. </p>

<p><strong>East Clarendon HS (Turbeville)</strong>: The Lady Wolverines (19-6) will rely on senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='258134' first='Jasmyne' last='Lloyd']</strong> and youngsters<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='833029' first='Cherish' last='Cochran']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='848223' first='Kierstin' last='Woods']</strong> for leadership. Lloyd is back for her senior year. Jasmyne averaged 8.5 ppg and 3.6 rebounds a season ago. Cochran a guard plays very mature for her age in the backcourt while averaging 10 ppg last season. Woods brings an inside presence with her game down on the block. Kierstin scored 7.3 ppg a night last season as an 8th grader. </p>

<p><strong>Laurence Manning Academy</strong>: The Lady Cats have a new head coach with Will Epps no longer leading the program.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='600160' first='Lyza' last='Pricklemyer']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='600161' first='Ashley' last='Rae Hodge'] </strong>will both be back to lead the blue and orange in Bubba Davis Gymnasium. Pricklemyer a left-handed guard brings good athleticism to the floor. She also excels on the softball diamond in the spring. </p>

<p><strong>Manning HS</strong>: The Lady Monarchs suffered a (2-22) season a year ago. This off-season Manning HS brought one of their own back home in Justin Johnson who graduated and worked under legendary Head Coach John Thames. Johnson previously coached at Hartsville HS. The Lady Monarchs have dropped down to Class 2A and have a new attitude on basketball this off season with Johnson taking over the program. Keep an eye out for youngster <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='992816' first='Ameerah' last='Conyers']</strong> down in the paint. </p>

<p><strong>Scott's Branch HS (Summerton)</strong>: The Lady Eagles finished (7-13) a season ago. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='198127' first='Siara' last='Lundy']</strong> a former Manning HS player averaged 8.2 ppg last season. <strong>Zamaria Lowery</strong> and <strong>Ziaier Bryant </strong>will both look to step up their games this season. The Lady Eagles play in Class 1A.</p>

<p><strong>Sumter HS</strong>: The Lady Gamecocks won the Class 5A State Championship last season and finished (25-0). This season looks to be a total rebuild for the Blue and Gold and Head Coach Jeff Schaffer. The Lady Gamecocks defeated Rock Hill HS 60-42 in the state championship and won its first state title since 1983. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='553681' first='A'raina' last='Ross']</strong> will look to take over the leadership role on this squad with several players moving onto the college level.</p>

<p><strong>Wilson Hall (Sumter)</strong>: The Lady Barons finished last season at (12-9) in SCISA Class 4A. <strong>Logan Mims</strong> will look to lead the way this season after several players moved on from last season. </p>
