In her freshman season, the point guard averaged an impressive 14.3 points per game while dishing out 3.0 assists per game and 4.9 rebounds per game. However, what she does on the defensive end stands out most from her game. Johnson was able to average over 4.0 steals per game and 1.2 blocks per game. Going into her sophomore season, the biggest area for improvement is to improve her shooting efficiency as she shot just 30% from the field and 22% from three. The positive is, that Johnson has demonstrated the ability to knock down the three-ball, as she recorded six games with four or more three-pointers made.

Burgoyne put together a solid freshman year last season, averaging 18.0 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, and 2.4 steals per game. While Burgoyne averaged 2.6 made three-pointers per game, she only shot 25% from three in her freshman year. She shot an impressive 70% from the free-throw line and has good mechanics so we can expect her to be much more productive from beyond the arc this upcoming season.

Cabrera filled the stat sheet her freshman year, averaging 20.1 points, 4.4 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and an impressive 4.8 steals per game. Cabrera is a do-it-all type of player. As only a freshman, she recorded games with double-digit assists, rebounds, and even steals. Towards the end of the season, Cabrera started putting together more of these impressive, stat-filled performances. In a 75-57 victory of HCHS, she recorded a triple-double with 32 points, 10 assists, and 12 steals. If Cabrera picks up where she left off last season, we can expect her to have a huge sophomore season.

Anthony wasted no time adjusting to high school basketball, scoring 26 points in her varsity debut and following it up with 23 points the very next night. More impressively, she managed to shoot 57% and 46% from the field in those two performances. Anthony did most of her scoring in the paint her freshman year — only attempting 32 three-pointers and 22 free throws all season. However, she was highly efficient inside the arc, shooting 47% on 279 two-point attempts. Despite not getting to the line often or being much of a threat from behind the arc, Anthony still managed to put up 17.0 points per game. If she can expand her range and get to the line more often as a result of her ability to score in the paint, she could put up some very impressive numbers this upcoming season.
