EXPO 3rd Team Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Saturday, September 7th&nbsp;<strong>Prep Girls Hoops Arizona</strong>&nbsp;had the annual&nbsp;<strong>EXPO Showcase</strong>&nbsp;which was hosted at Inspire Courts in Gilbert, AZ. We had right around 45 players from the 2028-2025 classes who were competing in a few games of 3 on 3 followed by the regular 5 on 5 setting.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here were the 3rd Team Standouts</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='852314' first='Claire' last='Carnal']<a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/claire-carnal/"><strong></strong><strong></strong></a><a></a>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Pinnacle</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A gifted scoring combo guard is a three point catch shooter and one of the better snipers in the freshmen class. She will collect steals with her quick hands and quicker feet. She is a real point guard who is always looking to make plays.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='992602' first='Mackenzie' last='Fields']<a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/mackenzie-fields/"></a>&nbsp;Horizon (Pictured)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A fluid point forward type can handle it and will score it with pull-ups from mid-range. She will cash in on her free throws and plays the game with a high feel. She has a good feel to make plays and is a floor general who makes the right reads and hits open triples. She can score with her left hand with put backs after she rebounds well. She is a good passer and gets on the glass to score on put backs and seems to be in the correct spots more times then not. Her mid-range game seems to be her sweet spot. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Koree Rodden</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Techa</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A wing forward with athleticism. She is good in the passing lanes to collect steals and lay it in on the other end. She is a good passer with a high IQ. She will grab offensive rebounds and is so athletic she will jump over her opponent and is efficient around the basket to score. She cuts off the ball to score and will work down low in the post. She talks on defense and will get downhill and takes pride in her defense. She can hit the catch three and knows how to play. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
