Fascinating Notes

As we move into a new high school Basketball season, here are some quick notes to ponder about some interesting players throughout the state. These notes are a result of me going back and studying film of each athlete from prior seasons.   Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!    "On the AAU Scene, [player_tooltip player_id='766882' first='Jordyn' last='Rohlfsen'] is someone that stands out every once and awhile because of her skill. On her Omaha Supreme team, Rohlfsen is a play-maker and standout when she has her confidence in check. I hope this season for her Senior year that she brings that same attitude and confidence to the high school floor. When she truly plays HER game and plays to her strengths, she is very solid as a producer and that's all you can ask for as a coach."     "Following high school, [player_tooltip player_id='427919' first='Paige' last='Myers'] of Westview High School will be competing on the Lacrosse field but she is still someone that is going to put up meaningful numbers over the next six months for her Senior season. She has a quick first step, physicality to match anyone, a soft touch on the ball near the basket, and she is a heck of a teammate. All those things will bring positives to her current program, as well as her program of the future in college."     "[player_tooltip player_id='336039' first='Armanii' last='Brazile'] is ready to suit up for her Senior season at Milard North. Brazile is someone that always puts up numbers, in any sport she is competing in and that won't change for her Senior campaign on the hardwood. Millard North is going to have a very different roster in my opinion than years past but that plays to Brazile's advantage in my eyes. She is going to get more chances on and off of the ball to make a play and that's all you can ask for. This is someone that has a high motor, smart head on her shoulders, and great guidance so usually those three things lead to a lot of success in the end. In one way or another."     "My biggest note or question for [player_tooltip player_id='336029' first='Pierre-Noelle' last='Tcheuhchoua'] of Omaha Central is how far can she take this? She has shown time and time again that she is a solid talent on the court. I'm just not sure what her ceiling is quite yet. I'm also not sure of her current offers but I do know of a coach or two that would love her at the D3, NAIA, or JUCO level to start off. From there? Who knows! Her size at 5'11 stands out, quite literally and she has a solid base to build on. Those are two things that should play a key role in her success in the long run in this sport."     "[player_tooltip player_id='865481' first='Gigi' last='Owens'] has the chance to be the standout for her Lincoln High Program if put in the right situation this Winter. From a young age, her size, athleticism, and coordination has stood out. As a Freshman she didn't really get a huge chance to be their person and I hope that changes this time around cause she definitely has the ability to make that happen in a successful way. She has a whole other level to her play-style that no one has seen yet but it's just a matter of time at this point."
