Harpeth Hall Honeybears: Ready to Rebound This Season

She is a winner. She is going to push you to excel and get the most out of your abilities. Ever since taking over the helm for the Harpeth Hall program, she has done just that plus more. She has each and every one of these young ladies who play for her, believing and excelling at their craft. These kids play hard and do so for the full length of the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Harpeth Hall Honeybears are a club that will come ready to compete anytime and anywhere. Collectively, when they are on, they are hard to stop. This club has a solid offensive system and plays sound defense. Last year wasn't their best overall season as they posted 19-12 overall with a 11-4 district record. They dropped some contests to some tough opponents. The year before that, they went 23-5 overall and 11-3 in the district. Let's just say this year will be a rebound year as they look to finish in the top 4 of their district.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harpeth Hall will look to come out the gates strong this upcoming season. Especially if they take on the identity of the coach early and off, look for them to come out with an attitude and compete right from the start. This kid can truly help out from the arc. With so much attention on the interior, Emery can always find a a favorable spot to receive the ball. She is a facilitator who can find the hot hand. She too can get downhill and score it or fill it up from 3. However, if the coach wants something run, she will get her teammates in the right spots and into the right set. Will sit down and guard on the defensive end, she is a tough competitor who will get after. What I love about her game, if there is a loose ball, she's on the floor after it. A multi-level scoring threat, this kid is edgy and goes hard each and every possession. Has a nice clip on her where she will pull it from deep.Will put it on the floor and challenge bigs at the rim. She's a fiery individual who is passionate about the game. Lanky and long, defensively this kid gets steals, blocks shots, and rebounds. Look for her to be a nice additional piece for the Honeybears program. A heady two-way player, this kid is a nightly double-double threat. She's Tennessee's Breanna Stewart, as her game is very similar to hers. She's a gym rat, a student athlete, a sensational teammate, and a phenomenal leader. She can play inside and out, giving opponents the business. She can finish around the rim as well as from 3, but her mid-range game is where it's at. Her length causes problems on both ends of the floor. Just know this kid is one of the top kids in her class and a great pick up for the Harvard program.
