'24 Players to watch

Sr F Emma Sorrell

Averaged 7.3 RPG last season and grabbed 63 offensive rebounds. Bruiser in the paint and a willing and determined rebounder. Has been working on her offensive game this offseason. Will be one of the best rebounders in the conference. Gritty lunch pail type of player.

Sr G Tessa Brooks

A division 1 soccer recruit who automatically becomes the fastest player on the court when she steps on it. Smooth offensive game and plays well in transition. Came off the bench to score 24 points @ Amanda Clearcreek to help secure a 51-45 win.

Jr W [player_tooltip player_id='906912' first='Whitney' last='Passen']

PGH article (May) “ I love Passen's mid range shot- soft touch! And she certainly has range- comfortable from 3 point land! And her quick reactions to shoot- that comes with a lot of repetition and muscle memory." She plays with such a calm demeanor! (Featured Photo, Seen below)

So G Davynn Miller

Quick shifty guard who came off the bench as a freshman in the District Championship and scored seven of her 10 points in the fourth quarter. Article from NE2K “She is a skilled guard that can score in a variety of ways. She has touch around the rim but can also finish through traffic. She can shoot it well from distance and also create for herself and others off the dribble. Good court vision and can thread the needle with passes.” '24 names to know.

So G [player_tooltip player_id='743723' first='Riley' last='Westall']
Westall and Miller's made for one of the top backcourt duo's in the conference on the JV level last season. Her and Miller seem to play off of each other very well and are ready to take the next step to the varsity level. High basketball IQ, excellent form shooter with long range. Shifty at getting to the paint and is an active and willing defender. High ceiling with her best basketball ahead of her.

Sr F Charlie Conrad

An Ohio Dominican soccer commit, Charlie's another physical Forward in the front court. A tireless worker, she's a true glue type of player. Never afraid to get on the floor for loose balls or battle down with opposing bigs she does what's asked of her. She will be a leader for us this season.

So W Ashlynn Berta
“Bert” will have the opportunity to be a Swiss Army knife for us this season. Long athletic wing who can defend multiple different positions. PGH article (May). “Berta is heating up from outside! Clutch from behind the arc! Great job moving without the ball, pass and cut/backdoor moves and quick first step allowing herself open looks at the basket!”

So F Josie Burr
Very smooth offensive game, great post moves and moves well for her size. “NE2K article (May) “Burr has a solid frame and knows how to use it, she seals off the defender and establishes her position in the paint to score with ease. She stays leveled up to avoid fouls, gets the ball out for quick outlets, moves her feet well, and knows how to play with body control. Keep watch on this player as she will continue to grow.”
