Overview for 24-25 Season

Hamilton Township should be a fun team to watch this year. We should be an athletic team that will look to push the pace, and control the tempo of a game. We will not shy away from shooting the 3 ball. We will look to play pressure defense and on occasion full court press opponents. We are very skilled at the guard position. A bit undersized as a team, but our toughness and heart will make up for our lack of size. We look to compete this year for a MSL title, as well as a District title.

23-24 Season Recap

It was a tough year. We had high expectations going into the year. The season became injury and eligibility plagued. Depth became a major issue and chemistry on the court after losing our PG became an evident issue. We finished the season 6-17. Although we stayed very competitive in almost every game, we could not overcome a few of the key pieces we were missing. Our schedule was also one of the toughest in the state according to MaxPreps, which had us at a 8.0 Strength of schedule. We learned a lot about ourselves throughout the season and will use last season to our advantage this year. One key win was our win against Lakewood, where we had the opportunity to play on the Cleveland Cavaliers court. These girls getting to step foot on an NBA court and ball was amazing, and winning that game made it that much better!

Alexis is a great scorer who can score it from all three levels. She has an underrated midrange game that she continues to work on. She finishes well when she gets to the rim. She is a knock down shooter. That's her specialty, she will shoot it off the dribble going left or right, and is going to knock it down if it's an open look. She is a great decision maker when the ball is in her hands, she is an underrated passer and an average rebounder. She is an excellent ball handler, and handles pressure well. She is a solid 1v1 defender with quickness and great active hands. She has a strong motor with a high basketball IQ. She displays great leadership skills on and off the floor. (Below, Featured Photo)

Jael is an above average shooter, who can create her own show or create shots for her teammates. She is a shifty, strong guard who makes wise decisions and finishes very well around the rim. Jael is a 3 level scorer which makes her extremely hard to guard 1v1. She has a good handle to her game and great knack for rebounding the basketball. She is a solid on the ball defender and uses her great basketball instincts off the ball. Outstanding personal drive and determination. She displays incredible leadership characteristics on and off the court. (Below with ball)

More Names to Know

Kiki Dean (2025) F/PF

Kiki is a good inside out player who can score at all 3 levels. She is strong and athletic. She has a PF build with a guard skill set. Dean rebounds and passes it well; and with a different mindset could be taking over games.

Jersey Baker (2025) F/PF

Jersey plays her role on the team extremely well. She can knock down the open jumper and finishes well around the rim. She works extremely hard at the attention to detail type stuff, screens, boxing out, help defense, etc. She is the ultimate teammate and is not afraid to do whatever it takes to win.

JuJu McLaughlin (2025) PG

Juju is an explosive guard. She is tenacious, and tough. She has all the skills you need to be a defensive POTY. JuJu causes the opponents guards all sorts of problems when she is locked in. She is a playmaker on the offensive end when creating for her teammates and can push the pace offensively as well as control the tempo of a game.

Faith Moore (2025) C/PF

Faith displays a strong skill set, as she dribbles, shoots and rebounds the ball well. She has a good inside-out game. Moore is excellent in the screen and roll game, and she runs the floor/ rim to rim very well.

Breakout Player

[player_tooltip player_id='806953' first='Alexis' last='Wooten'] (2026) 5'8” SG / PG

We believe Alexis is ready to take a large leap forward this year. After an exciting season of AAU with her [program_tooltip program_id='790618' first='Arctic' last='Rush'] team, we are confident she is ready to perform at an All-State level. With Alexis' high IQ, leadership skills, and incredible work ethic, she is very capable of not only breaking out as a top performer in our area, but also at the State level.
