Mountain Ridge 4-6 (15-10); 6. Riverton 1-9 (4-19).

2024-25 Picks

1. Copper Hills— Copper Hills is one of the best teams in the state and this region is tough but it seems like Copper Hills is built to run the table. Playing their young talent early has paid off for them and now a lot of these talented girls are seniors. [player_tooltip player_id='788192' first='Skylie' last='Barker'] is among one of the best high IQ guards and a tough player that is relentless. [player_tooltip player_id='789127' first='Ayla' last='Marston'] is a beast as she is one of the best slashing guards with elite size. [player_tooltip player_id='788318' first='Aspen' last='Fraser'] is a physical SF that gets after it on the glass. Then you have players like [player_tooltip player_id='922382' first='Ella' last='Creer'] that come in and provide more depth. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='848843' first='Taylor' last='Johnson'] to also be an impact. They are just loaded.

2. Mountain Ridge — Mountain Ridge plays a unique brand of basketball that if you are not ready for they will get you and catch you off guard with their 1-2-2 full-court. [player_tooltip player_id='790536' first='Kya' last='Newton'] is legit and she has recently committed to Utah State for soccer. She is a player with a motor and skills as a lead guard. [player_tooltip player_id='866703' first='Jada' last='Jangard'] has been impressive this off-season. [player_tooltip player_id='796847' first='Jessica' last='Maynard'] is better around the rim and her touch has gotten better as well. She is a player you need to keep off the glass. [player_tooltip player_id='805788' first='Kaylee' last='Montgomery'] is coming along. This team will be a problem.

3.Bingham — The Miners will have a new look and have played well this summer and fall. [player_tooltip player_id='788161' first='Addy' last='Horsley'] is as tough as they come when it comes to lead ball handlers. She is finishing better and her shot is much improved. Reagan Littlewood is a player that has really stepped her game up, especially with her shooting. [player_tooltip player_id='789112' first='Lena' last='Casperson'] is a do it all wing that can get going in a hurry. [player_tooltip player_id='789117' first='Brielle' last='Blanchard'] is another player that can really shoot the ball. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='796474' first='Evalyn' last='Roberts'] to also increase her output as not only a shooter but playmaker. Stacia People is set to have a big year.

3. Corner Canyon — If Corner Canyon can use some of their height they will be a surprise team. With the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='789152' first='Aubrey' last='Mulitalo']. Her ability to shoot and play in the mid-post gives CC a different player. They will be fast and pesky with their guards. [player_tooltip player_id='866612' first='Kenzie' last='Randall'] will be a good bigger guard for them. Kate LeRoy and Lexi LeRoy will also be impactful player. Sorrelle Nielson will be the key for this team. If she can get things going and protect the paint she will make a big impact in their wins and losses.

5. Riverton— Riverton could easily move up a spot or two with a player like [player_tooltip player_id='788191' first='Faythe' last='Stauffer']. Stauffer has next level playing skill set. Very capable of carrying the load. She won't have to carry the load with help from [player_tooltip player_id='812050' first='Maggie' last='Hamblin'] who is an elite softball polayer and you can tell she is a big time athlete. [player_tooltip player_id='1133593' first='Halle' last='Talbot'] is another young player that is coming along. This team has the potential to be dangerous.

6. Herriman — Herriman looks to add new players to the team that are ready to play now. Bergen Jettie will need to step it up. Brooklyn Rassmussen is also a player that could easily help this team out. Look for some more incoming freshman to make an immediate impact.

BIG Season Loading

[player_tooltip player_id='788192' first='Skylie' last='Barker']

[player_tooltip player_id='789053' first='Stacia' last='Peoples']

[player_tooltip player_id='789152' first='Aubrey' last='Mulitalo']

[player_tooltip player_id='788191' first='Faythe' last='Stauffer']

[player_tooltip player_id='866703' first='Jada' last='Jangard']

[player_tooltip player_id='812050' first='Maggie' last='Hamblin']

[player_tooltip player_id='978483' first='Sorelle' last='Nielson']
