The Scott Allen Fall Showcase was one of the first events of the fall season to bring out some top programs for a one-day DMV extravaganza. Here are some of the notable prospects I was able to see during my time in the gym.

Lauryn Lorittis, Catholic, 2028, Wing/Guard

5'10" lefty with a smooth jumper out past the three-point line. Very athletic and dangerous in transition. She had multiple steals that led to easy buckets for her team. She has good upper body strength and a good IQ. Very impressive profile for a freshman.

Jamia Taylor, Dunbar, 2025, Forward

Versatile six-footer with a nice face up game and a nice mid-range bag. She can put the ball on the floor and slash to the rim where she is a good finisher. She has great length and plays with a high motor. She's one of the better unsigned seniors in the DMV.

[player_tooltip player_id='860847' first='Madison' last='Doerr'], Georgetown Visitation, 2027, Guard

Madison had a solid game against Riverdale Baptist. She's a big guard at around 5'11" with a nice step-back three in her arsenal. She's an exceptional athlete and she did some nice work finishing around the basket. She has good footwork and solid fundamentals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1245983' first='Nancy' last='Ngalieu'], Hayfield, 2027, Wing

Nancy was in attack mode during her minutes against Catholic. As soon as she came into the game, she started getting buckets. She has good size at 5'11" and did all of her damage in the paint, slashing and driving to the rim. She missed some defensive assignments which limited her minutes, so if she can improve on that end of the floor she can develop into a solid prospect for the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='914249' first='Kendall' last='Bagwell'], Menchville, 2027, Guard

Screenshot

Kendall is a 5'4" guard that applies tremendous ball pressure and sets the tone for her team defensively. She is a one person press as she can apply full court pressure or play tough deny defense. She was very disruptive in the game I watched and came up with a number of deflections and steals. She handles the ball well, has good speed and showed the ability to knock down shots from three-point range. Very tough competitor.
