16U Stars Shine at Think Pink

Hosted in multiple Fairfax County public school locations the tournament is a first look at several top programs in the DMV and visiting states. She looked to direct and inspire her teammates on the floor in a way the made you want to follow her lead. She did well attacking the basket whether taking the baseline or in transition. She was adept at finishing with both hands and was able to knock down the three. When attacking one on one she found opportunities keeping her dribble alive to beat the defender to the rim. She tried to show her three range early, she missed the shot but it appeared to be in her range. She had several blocked shots both in the paint and the perimeter, she showed the poise to control the ball after the block and start the break. She is active going after loose balls out of her area. Rebound situations, when you would think there is no chance for her to get it because of the size disadvantage she comes up with the board. She tends to jump to shoot free throws but has three range even with a step back.
