10 Game Changing PG's Heading Into the Season

Stephens is a player that could easily rack up points with her quickness and shooting. She will have to take on that stat stuffing approach and help everyone around her. Stephens could be among the better statistical players in the state with the way she can create, defend and rebound.     Baldassano has taken the next step in her development. She can score and dish out assist. If she can continue to shoot it well from deep she is going to have a killer year. There is a lot of good PG's in her region and she could prove herself even more this season. She is set to have a big year.     Horsley can be a game changer and not just scoring but defending. She is an undervalued player that has been getting calls from a few schools at the next level. She has the stamina to play hard and stay in teh game. She rebounds well and has that willing passer mentality. She could help her team sneak up on a few teams through the season.     Klodt has quietly made a name for herself. she has speed, vision and playmaking ability. She plays the right way, does not shoot too many contested shots and can get to the rim. She keeps her moves simple, look for Cedar Valley to make some moves this year.     Valdez has been impressive with a mixture of shooting and speed. She can get downhill in a hurry and her speed is also visible on defense as she ca get into players the entire length of the floor. Valdez will be crucial in getting Fremont into their offense.     Satuala is a do it all player but she can really do damage at the PG position. Who will defend her is one of the biggest questions. Do you put someone bigger on her. Then you might not have the foot-speed to stay in-front. If you put someone smaller and faster on her she will dunk in and work in the post or midrange. This is a big year as Satuala and company look to repeat.     Jenks is a lengthy lead guard that might not have the ball in her hands a lot but she will have the ball in her hands and if she can get it to her best player on the move making sharp passes and good reads she is going to need to be on her game. Jenks has the skills ot play at the next level. Her athleticism and motor could see her playing right away next year at the right school.     Arroyo is a player that is on the rise. She still has trime to develop but we have seen her do some really good things. If she could score from the outside and control the tempo at times or speed the tempo up she is going to be a game changer for LCA.     Sikander was one of the gems in her class from last season. She had a phenomenal spring and summer and now she looks to build on all that success. Not only is she always active and a threat she is a hard player to tame or stay in-front of. She finds ways and that leads to crucial rebounds. She is going to be a game changer this season, especially with a much improved jumper.     Newton is a shooter that runs the PG and she runs it well. Her ability to make solid reads and her smart and sharp passing lead to a lot of scoring. She will be a double digit scorer and could be up there among the best in assist as well. If she gets close to 7 or 8 assist she is going to put a lot of pressure on the defense. She is set for a game changing season.
