All About the Bigs- Gander Tip-Off Classic

She provided solid help side defense for her team, putting herself in position to block without fouling. Again, Alvarado runs the floor well and has good hands to catch and finish in transition. She keeps the ball high and gets her own rebounds. She showcased her strength as she was able to pulldown boards and take a dribble or two to reestablish position inside and finish. She has the size and strength to bang with the bigs inside when necessary, but she can handle the ball on the perimeter with no hesitation. From the elbow, Byles showcased a poised turn around jumper that the defense did not have an answer for.
