LAS CRUCES, N.M. — The Centennial Hawk Jamboree was a one-day team camp featuring Varsity & JV teams.

Schools in attendance included: Centennial, Gadsden, Los Lunas, Organ Mountain, Sandia & Silver.

In no particular order, here are some standout players from the varsity division:

[player_tooltip player_id='391103' first='Sydney' last='Benally'] | Sandia | 2025

Benally was deadly from the perimeter, hitting multiple three-pointers with ease. The senior point-guard -- and Princeton Commit -- showed little to no hesitation, rising-up immediately after the catch. Additionally, when Benally was off-ball, she found ways to get reverse layups with her cutting and movement.

[player_tooltip player_id='648217' first='Vayda' last='Golino'] | Los Lunas | 2026

Golino did a great job spacing the floor Saturday by knocking down three-pointers in catch and shoot situations. However, Golino really impressed with her play-making and scoring ability off the dribble. The junior guard had a nice left-handed finish in the paint-area despite a hard contest from the help-side defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='391109' first='Audriana' last='Wright'] | Sandia | 2025

Wright's versatility was evident on both ends of the floor. The dynamic forward was constantly creating deflections, altering shots and making opposing players have to work! Offensively, Wright impressed as a facilitator both in the half-court and out on the break. Wright made quick decisions with the ball and was never stagnant.

[player_tooltip player_id='642722' first='Joy' last='Hunt'] | Centennial | 2025

Hunt did a good job of mixing-it-up, in terms of when to attack and when to take the outside shot. Hunt hit both the 3ball and mid-range jumper with confidence, showing an improved touch. Having said that, Hunt's 'bread and butter' is still inside 12-feet due to her length and size.

[player_tooltip player_id='839464' first='Justinne' last='Altamirano'] | Silver | 2027

Altamirano looked comfortable running the show, controlling the tempo and pace. The sophomore displayed good vision and the ability to finish with either hand. Altamirano attacked close-outs well, going to both a lefty floater off the bounce and a 'tear-drop' off the glass going to her right.

[player_tooltip player_id='458558' first='Jessica' last='Roberts'] | Organ Mountain | 2025

Roberts is an intriguing southpaw that has transferred back to Organ Mountain from Mesilla Valley Christian. The combo-guard has a good handle and is comfortable operating in the paint-area. Roberts was connecting on floaters, pull-up jumpers, and even went off-glass after a smooth spin-move. Defensively, Roberts had strong close-outs and box-outs, doing-so without fouling.

[player_tooltip player_id='642725' first='Tessa' last='Jaramillo'] | Los Lunas | 2025

It was rather impressive how Jaramillo was able to accelerate and jump the skip-pass. Jaramillo came away with multiple steals that led to break-away layups. Moreover, Jaramillo showcased the ability to collect rebounds and take the ball coast-to-coast. Jaramillo also displayed good footwork on the fast-break. The speedy point-guard utilized a jump-stop to get the defender to over-commit, then went to a step-through for the finish.

[player_tooltip player_id='391104' first='Hope' last='Giddings'] | Sandia | 2025

With willing passers all-around, running the floor will often result in cross-matches and fast break chances. Giddings knows this and puts herself in a position to capitalize on mistakes made by opposing teams. The 5'9" senior was often the recipient of transition three-pointers or dive-cut layups.

[player_tooltip player_id='1068188' first='Kaiyah' last='Benally'] | Sandia | 2028

Benally's elite handle was on full-display Saturday. The freshman point-guard is a burst of energy that is hard to contain off the bounce. Benally used an array of dribble moves that froze not just one, but multiple defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='642719' first='Kianna' last='Murrillo'] | Silver | 2025

Murrillo used her athleticism to affect the game in multiple ways. The senior ran the floor well, which created transition opportunities and also looked comfortable operating in the mid-range. Murrillo hit several jumpers, about 12-15 feet away from the basket.
