We graduated 3 amazing seniors who did wonderful for our program and gave us great leadership, so it is the challenge to the next class to step up as our leaders. We also walk into this season with some new faces. While there will be familiar faces on the sidelines, there will be new roles to conquer. They were led by senior Kendall Braden who scored over 2,000 career points , while other seniors who were key included Ava Nietzke and Mylah Welborn, both who received honors. She has developed into a phenomenal all-around player, with one of her strongest attributes being her ability to score from behind the arc. Active at both ends of the floor, not only a good on-ball defender but with the ball in her hands, she can score from the perimeter. As she gains experience, look for her contributions to grow. It will do our team good to play various teams to gain more experience. Another game to watch is our matchup against a league competitor such as Ottawa Hills. The matchups will be interesting. Every night our goal will be to come out and play hard.
