Dugan is a play-maker for Carlsbad that is comfortable playing both off-ball and on-ball. The 5'9" shooting-guard is a capable scorer off the bounce who can get to the charity stripe often.

Defensively, Dugan can guard multiple positions. The senior anticipates well, especially the skip-pass and has active hands.

Dugan should resume her role as the Carlsbad's no. 1 option in the half-court in 2024-25. The question is, can Dugan lead the Cavegirls past the Round of 16? Stay tuned.

This past season, Montoya appeared in 27 games for Capital and was the Jaguars leading scorer with 9.8 points per game. Furthermore, the 5'6" combo-guard was Capital's best three-point shooter and arguably best player all-around.

Montoya connected on 47 three-pointers -- the ninth most amongst the 2025 class -- while averaging 4.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 2.8 steals.

Banda is a '3&D' type player for the Rams whose energy is cantagious.

The 5'8" lefty shooting-guard is a solid on-ball defender but is also an underrated shot-blocker. Banda has good timing and uses her length to disrupt opposing players rhythm.

On the flip side, a majority of Banda's 3PA come via catch and shoot, rather than off the bounce. With that said, Banda is willing to put the ball on the floor and create.

This past season, Candelaria was an important piece on a Sartan team that reached the 4A Championship game as the no. 2 seed.

Because of Candelaria's ability to space the floor and DEEP range, the shooting-guard could be considered a '3PT specialist'.

And that would be perfectly reasonable. Candelaria has a quick release and tremendous confidence. Candelaria is more than capable of knocking down multiple treys a game, especially in catch and shoot situations.

This past season (2023-24) Atencio helped the no. 6 Panthers (21-11, 8-2) win the 2A State Championship.

Atencio can provide relief points around the basket but also has the ability to score off the dribble. Atencio likes to utilize a 'runner' or 'floater' in the lane. If Atencio can give Coach Montoya steady play, that bodes well for the Panthers and their hope of going back-to-back!
