We are mere weeks away now from the start of the 2024-25 high school girls basketball season in New Jersey and there's still plenty to talk and get excited about. The Shore Conference, pound-for-pound, is the best high school conference in the state, so it's time to discuss some of the best shooters in the conference for this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='668417' first='Madeline' last='Nolan'] - Manchester Township (2027)

Nolan is an interesting player to follow who will have quite the task ahead of her to follow up on what Devyn Quigley was able to do in her career with the Hawks. Becoming a 2,500-point scorer doesn't happen overnight, but we've been really encouraged by what we saw out of her as a freshman, knocking down just over a three-pointer a game. Expect those numbers to skyrocket in her sophomore season.

[player_tooltip player_id='333334' first='Riley' last='Fitzpatrick'] - Barnegat (2025)

We quickly head over to Barnegat, another potential contender within the B South division in the Shore and senior [player_tooltip player_id='333334' first='Riley' last='Fitzpatrick'], the unquestionable leader of this team coming into the season. She brings with her immense production on the court and most importantly, shooting prowess. This is a player who was knocking down multiple threes a game with ease as a junior, a trend that will definitely continue this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='414286' first='Madalynn' last='Dougherty'] - Brick Township (2025)

It's safe to say that Brick Township had a down year last season, far from the ending the Dragons wanted, but what they do have returning to the fold this season is a fantastic senior shooter in [player_tooltip player_id='414286' first='Madalynn' last='Dougherty'], the team's leading three-point shooter as a junior. Another player we can expect to hit 2-3 three-pointers a game this season, she's the premier choice beyond the arc for this program.

[player_tooltip player_id='559043' first='Katie' last='Liggio'] - Red Bank Catholic (2026)

You simply couldn't include a list of the best shooters in the Shore Conference without including Red Bank Catholic junior [player_tooltip player_id='559043' first='Katie' last='Liggio']. She just came off a sophomore season with the Caseys where she knocked down 65, more than two a game, while averaging career-best numbers on the offensive end of the floor. Certainly someone who is going to make it rain from three next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='559823' first='Zoe' last='Gulley'] - Red Bank Regional (2026)

From Red Bank Catholic, we head to Red Bank Regional and another junior sensation ready to light it up from three-point range in [player_tooltip player_id='559823' first='Zoe' last='Gulley']. Specialized shooter is the perfect way to describe Gulley and she's done a fantastic job at growing into that role, hitting 68 threes as a sophomore, more than 2.6 threes a game. With more than 100 in her career, she could be hitting 3 or 4 a game by season's end in the spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='333322' first='Kayden' last='Clark'] - Ocean Township (2025)

Ocean Township takes a pretty significant blow heading into this season as Eli Clark graduated in the spring. That leaves [player_tooltip player_id='333322' first='Kayden' last='Clark'] as the go-to piece on this team, and based on what she was able to do as a junior, she's more than ready to put this team on her back as a senior. Eli and Kayden were very much equals on the floor, and with Kayden knocking down 49 threes last season, she's got plenty of range to her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='333333' first='Cassidy' last='Kruesi'] - St. Rose (2025)

St. Rose heads into this season with a robust senior class, headlined by guard [player_tooltip player_id='333333' first='Cassidy' last='Kruesi']. She is coming off her best offensive campaign of her career as a junior, hitting 49 threes and averaging just over nine points per game. Her bread-and-butter is her perimeter shooting, a facet of her game where she took some massive strides as a junior. Those strides in production should only increase as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='333355' first='Haley' last='Poser'] - Ranney (2025)

The shooters in this conference are robust and plentiful as we head over to Ranney and senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='333355' first='Haley' last='Poser'], an incredible perimeter and foul shooter, as was demonstrated last season. In the three-point department, she hit roughly 0.7 more threes a game as a junior compared to her sophomore year, a sizable jump when you consider she could be on pace to hit three a game as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='333353' first='Emily' last='Marinelli'] - Point Pleasant Boro (2025)

Marinelli offers a bit of everything on the floor, but when it comes to her perimeter shooting, she's solidified herself as one of the best in the conference, no doubt about it. To nearly double her three-point output as a junior says a lot about the work that she's put over the offseason to get to that point. We can only imagine that her work this offseason is going to turn her into someone that can hit 70-90 threes this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='414290' first='Christa' last='Ramos'] - Neptune (2025)

There are several impressive perimeter shooters on Neptune headed into this season, notably sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='831942' first='Lana' last='Ellington'], who did damage from three as a freshman. However, we're here to focus on senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='414290' first='Christa' last='Ramos'], the team's leading scorer and three-point shooter with 53 last year. She scores at will and she's learned to complement her game well with effective perimeter scoring.
