Top Upperclassmen at the Doniphan Jamboree

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top Class of 2025 and 2026 players who caught our eye at the Doniphan Jamboree, which was held in Southeast Missouri. The four participating schools were West Plains, Sikeston, Poplar Bluff and host Doniphan.    A 5'3" 2025 point guard was one of the most impressive offensive players at the event. She has been a bucket-getter throughout her entire career. Her lack of height does not bother her at all. She is a three-level scorer who can extend it out well past the 3-point line. She was also fearless when attacking the lane against all of the tall players inside.     A 6'0" 2025 forward who will be holding things down inside for the Donettes this season. She is patient with her moves in the post and her footwork is solid. She also has a strong defensive presence in the lane. She used her footwork to deflect and steal passes into the low post.     A 6'1" 2026 forward who has good length and mobility. She uses her reach and timing to block her share of shots in the lane. She does a good job of keeping the ball high on the catch to finish. She was also capable of hitting the 10-12 foot jumper off the catch.     A 5'6" 2026 guard who was one of the more impressive perimeter shooters that I watched during the jamboree. She hit multiple 3-pointers in the game against Doniphan. If she got a good look, she was definitely a weapon on the offensive end for the Zizzers.     A 5'10" 2025 forward who was the most impressive rebounder at the jamboree. She was gobbling up rebounds at both ends of the court at a high rate. She was active and she really pursued the ball very well. She was also a solid shot blocker as well. She was also a solid secondary ball handler on the offensive end.     A 5'10" 2026 forward who will provide the Zizzers with a strong inside presence after transferring over from Thayer. She is a physical post player who establishes good position in the lane. Her footwork is very good and she has a nice spin move in the paint to get a bucket.     A 5'8" 2026 guard who impressed me with her overall floor game. She used her good length and athleticism to impact play at both ends of the court. She was disruptive on defense on the perimeter. She passed the ball very well and she had success on her drives to the basket.
