2025 PGH Tennessee Rankings: Rising Stars in Girls Basketball

In order to become good at something, you must practice over and over again. It becomes second nature and sooner or later, boom, you do it without even hesitating. The 2025 rankings dropped this week with over 400+ young ladies on the list. Each of these young ladies play a role in their club's success. They aren't just names picked out of a hat or names thrown against a wall. These athletes have been scouted, recommended by both their coach and opposing ones, and most importantly earned the right to be recognized.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With so many schools within our state, it's hard to see all. I apologize for that, but guess what, as a publication we continue to get better and better. The more we are out there and continue to get support from both the general public and coaches, the more we can find and cover. I would like to drop some names of some young ladies who play a pivotal role in their club's success. Teammates who show up everyday and do their job. A heady basketball player who looks to execute on both ends of the floor. Talented kid who can score from multiple spots on the floor, but her main thing is to run and facilitate the offense. She's an extension of the coaching staff, running sets that put her teammates and herself in advantageous situations. She contributes at all facets of the game. A heart of a lion, she is a servant leader who goes out and competes from the start to the finish. This kid is hard to bottle up as she changes speed around screens in order to pull it from the arc or get down hill. I will say, she is very sharp using screens, propelling herself to an open space to deliver the dagger. Solid on the defensive end, she is a gamer who contributes at a high efficiency to help her team win. Look for her to have a stellar senior season. This kid has grown in confidence as she will be looked upon to light up the scoring column. Blessed with size and length that causes havoc, she is solid on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she can shoot it from the arc and get it done around the rim. Defensively, she is going to get it done by shutting down the girl she is guarding and grabbing boards. A fundamentally sound kid who checks all the boxes when it comes to impacting the game. She scores, makes timely assists, gets steals, rebounds, you name it. She impacts the game and leaves her mark everytime she steps onto the floor. This kid has grown tremendously and will look to be one of the leading catalysts as her club strives to take that next step and eclipse the goals they have set out for themselves this season. Look for her to be that girl who helps uplift her ballclub to greater heights.
