Division II-AA Championship Recap

Cut down the nets. Yesterday, the F&amp;M Bank Arena showcased two top notch ballgames from the division II league. These incredible games consisted of top talent and these young ladies left it all out on the line. Solid defense, high powered offense, fans in attendance weren't disappointed as the final field of teams got after it. A game that was dominated early by the Lady Mustangs, but the Lady Spartans of Webb made a late surge in the 4th quarter. Girls went back and forth, playing stingy defense and displaying efficiently on the offensive end. It wasn't until the final seconds that Webb was able to seal the victory. Scoring 17 pts, she was delivered in big-time moments down the stretch in order to help her club win the gold ball. Playing with such confidence, she stayed the course and came up big when her team needed it the most. She scored the winning bucket to help her team prevail. This kid has had nothing but a spectacular career. She was the anchor for Knox Webb that delivered around the painted area. This young lady had 12 points and 6 boards. She made buckets when her team needed them down the stretch. She exploited the defense on her way to the bucket. This kid is nothing but solid and she showcased her talent throughout the contest. Blake is a kid who goes about her business quietly. She stars in her role and has come up clutch multiple times throughout the season. Brought in 10 points during the championship game. Playing one of her best games of the tournament, she hit shots throughout the contest giving her team a fighting chance.
