[player_tooltip player_id='329405' first='Savannah' last='Weiss'] is a “gym rat” that never stops working on her game. There is no doubt that her consistency shooting the 3 ball is directly attributed to the countless hours she spends in the gym. Last season, as a junior, Savvy was Monarch's top 3 point shooter and one of the best in the entire state. She connected on 61 total 3's and finished with 292 points overall. Despite her small frame, Savannah defies the odds by scoring in a myriad of ways including: Fast break, Inside off penetration and at the charity stripe. Weiss's leadership and strong work ethic has been crucial to Monarch's success. Unfortunately, Savannah recently endured a potentially season ending injury - Prep hoops wishes her a quick recovery. Savannah is committed to play for the College of Wooster, where she will be a freshman next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='910387' first='Remi' last='Kingdom'] is a special deep ball shooter. There is always a learning curve when players are making the transition from middle school to high school, but Remi was able to make it look easy as a freshman last season at Boulder. Remi made a very impressive 48 threes on varsity in her inaugural campaign and looks to pick right up where she left off in 24/25. Her 48 threes ranked her at the top of her Boulder team in makes / percentage and 5th in the Front Range League in makes. Watch out for this sensational sophomore!

[player_tooltip player_id='899784' first='Olivia' last=''] [player_tooltip player_id='643722' first='Olivia' last='Kim'] has been a staple in the Broomfield varsity starting lineup since she was a sophomore. Kim was one of the top 3 point shooters in the Front Range League as a junior, finishing 9th in league play with 38 threes on the season. [player_tooltip player_id='899784' first='Olivia' last=''] is also a crafty ball handler that the Eagles rely on to effectively attack defensive pressure - On top of that she finished as the leading scorer on a team full of high level talent. There are high hopes this season for this Broomfield squad and there is no doubt [player_tooltip player_id='899784' first='Olivia' last=''] Kim will be a major part of their success.

Basketball is not a "one size fits all" kinda sport - Regardless of height, size, etc. skill sets can vary. 5'11 [player_tooltip player_id='471061' first='Lauren' last='Smith'] from Fossil Ridge is case in point - Even with Lauren's tall and long frame and her average of 5 rebounds per game, she still led the SaberCats in three point shooting as a sophomore. Look for Lauren to make huge strides this season as a junior. Her size, athleticism, and shooting ability make her a prime candidate to take over a big leadership role for Fossil Ridge this season.

3 point shooting is crucial to any basketball team and [player_tooltip player_id='374185' first='Kavi' last='Voglund'] was undeniably the top deep threat for Poudre last season. Voglund was near the top of the Front Range League in deep ball shooting, dropping 23 on the season. However, Kavi did so much more for the Impalas than play outside the arc - She led the team in scoring, rebounding, blocks, free-throws, and steals! With only 2 seniors last season, Poudre is scheduled to return almost all their scoring. Look for Kavi, talented teammate [player_tooltip player_id='374165' first='Jaque' last='Forrest'], and the rest of the Impalas to make a nice postseason run in 2025!
