Bluefish Shootout Standouts

She made nine 3-pointers in scoring a game-high 29 points. What was impressive was that all nine of her triples came after halftime. Some of the shots she was making came from the volleyball line. She has a very smooth overall offensive game, where she can score at all three levels. She was beating defenders off the dribble with either the straight line drive or a nice hesitation move that stops them in their tracks. She is an unselfish passer who was finding her open teammates. I was very impressed with her overall court vision. She sees the entire floor well and made some excellent passes. When she asserted herself on offense, she was slicing into the lane on the drive and hitting pull up jumpers. She finished with 19 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals. She did a nice job of creating off the dribble and attacking the basket. She had a quick first step to the basket. She is smooth on offense and she is capable at playing at any pace. She was breaking down defenders off the dribble and she was also knocking down open 3-pointers. She is a potent offensive player from about 15 feet on in. She catches at the high post and she is capable of driving the ball, hitting the jumper or making the right pass. She is also very good in the low post with her good footwork and nice touch. On defense, she was able to score on layups after shooting into the passing lanes for steals. She had her perimeter shot working as she knocked down four 3-pointers in the game. She can break down defenders with her speed and she also moves well without the ball with her cutting. She displayed some good defensive instincts on the full court press to go along with her quickness and anticipation.
