Game Report: Copper Hills vs. Cedar Valley

Cedar Valley was picked to finish last in their region and was an after thought. They entered the game 6-0 and one of the toughest teams in the state as they went toe to toe with Copper Hills. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Copper Hills on the other hand was picked to finish first and the front runner in 6A to make it back to the title game and likely win it all. They brought back 7 seniors with a lot of experience and a few good players moved in and transferred in. She has decent size at the lead guard position but her ability to play with a high motor the entire game on both ends of the floor is elite. She has multiple finishing moves and her first step is really quick. Barker was clutch when they needed her to be. Excited for whatever program ends up signing her. This girl does a little bit of everything. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two more players that were solid were [player_tooltip player_id='789127' first='Ayla' last='Marston'] for Copper Hills, even when she went cold on the offensive end she was defending at a high level and her defense without fouling was important as she was not in foul trouble in a 3OT game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='935878' first='Daisy' last='Thayne'] was impressive. Her shooting and defense was good and she was the second leading scorer and she was had the game winner that rolled out and she had a late jumper that was in and out but this girl can hoop.
