Copper Hills on the other hand was picked to finish first and the front runner in 6A to make it back to the title game and likely win it all. They brought back 7 seniors with a lot of experience and a few good players moved in and transferred in. Cedar Valley had them on the ropes in regulation and in 2OT's but Copper Hills and [player_tooltip player_id='788192' first='Skylie' last='Barker'] found a way to win it at the end in the 3rd OT.

We have been tracking Klodt as she entered last season and she was good but her jump in improvement this year has been impressive. She has decent size at the lead guard position but her ability to play with a high motor the entire game on both ends of the floor is elite. She has multiple finishing moves and her first step is really quick. She was at times the best player on the floor.

With quick defender and physical defender after defender Barker finally adjusted as she was being denied her right hand she finally decided to just take it to the left and when her teammates cleared out for her she was able to get to the rim and use the glass with her soft touch. Barker was clutch when they needed her to be. Excited for whatever program ends up signing her. She still has room to grow and refine her skills.

When the team needed a rebound or a tip or a bucket Leger came up big in those moments. The stat sheet might not tell the story but she ws pivitol in the minutes she got, especially when Fraser was injured. Really like her motor and ability to defend.

Two more players that were solid were [player_tooltip player_id='789127' first='Ayla' last='Marston'] for Copper Hills, even when she went cold on the offensive end she was defending at a high level and her defense without fouling was important as she was not in foul trouble in a 3OT game.

[player_tooltip player_id='935878' first='Daisy' last='Thayne'] was impressive. Her shooting and defense was good and she was the second leading scorer and she was had the game winner that rolled out and she had a late jumper that was in and out but this girl can hoop. Cedar Valley has a good one in her.
