Glasgow Tournament Top Underclassmen

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top underclassmen that caught our eye from our time watching the Glasgow Tournament. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Class 1 power Cairo defeated Westran in the championship game. She scored 16 points, with much of her action coming from beyond the 3-point line. She moves well to get open and she was shot ready on the catch. She is also a solid ball handler and passer. She doubles as the team's chief ball handler and facilitator while also being able to score from all three levels. That's a lot of responsibility, but she handles it quite well. She can break down defenders to get downhill on the drive and she can score on layups and pull up jumpers. She can also shoot it from 3-point range. She's physically strong and she had little trouble attacking on the drive where she was scoring early and often. She was catching the ball well on the move and finishing. She is a good ball handler and facilitator who excels in the open court. She can slice into the lane on the drive and she makes open 3-point shots. She uses her length very well on the defensive end as she could get steals and deflections. She is at her best when she gets a full head of steam and goes on the attack. She can go on the straight line or she can hid a defender with a cross-over move while going at full speed. I was impressed with her poised and overall playmaking ability. Once she got going, she was dropping some very impressive dimes. She sees the entire court well and was threading the needle with passes in the lane. She has good poise and a high basketball IQ.
