NOVA Standouts Of The Week 12/26/24-12/29/24

Eve has been hurt recently, but Washington Liberty has still been able to stack up wins. Julia Kelly had an outstanding game, knocking down 6 threes and finishing 20 points in a big win over Clarke County. Madison always does a great job getting in transition, and she has nice speed. Madison dominated against South Lakes in a low-scoring game. In a loss to West Potomac, she had 20 points and knocked down 4 threes. Then in a win over Penn Charter, she led Woodgrove with 17 points and 3 threes. Even spanning past this past week, she had a huge game in a blowout over Patriot with 25 points yesterday. Abby has been one of the most consistent players on this team, and she has a playstyle that fits in any system. She is an elite shooter and gets the ball out fast. Abby takes the right shots and understands the game well. Irieanna had 16, and her fit on this talented VA academy team has been terrific. Irieanna was one of the leading scorers in the state last year, so the scoring numbers and overall ability don't surprise me. Dawn's ability to hit outside shots consistently has been huge for WP all year. Dawn defends and rebounds and is one of the more reliable players for an undefeated WP team.
