Players on the Rise

Grace has been filling that role early into the season and has been doing a fantastic job. She rebounds very well, always boxing out and using her strength to her advantage. Her touch around the rim is soft and she sets solid screens then rolling hard down the paint to get open. She is a rising senior who is off to a hot start for Kamiakin. She handles the ball really well, being able to maintain her dribble in full sprint while pushing the ball down the court. She plays unselfish and bring intensity to the defensive side of the ball. She is scoring the ball well and attacking with confidence, which is leading to many. buckets for her. Sykes is scoring the ball well, being able to seal defenders deep in the paint and using elite footwork to get open shots. She can step out and hit mid-range and deep shots too so defenders can't play lazy defense and sag off. She is a quick guard who reads defenses quickly in order to find the weak spots. She works off the pick and role excellently, being able to finish in a variety of ways or find the roller for an easy bucket.
