All across the board, you can find every type of ball player in this class. These girls are just built differently. They are fearless competitors who approach the game a certain way and go hard. Look throughout all the different districts and classifications this state has and you will see a 28 doing work, making some kind of contribution for their team. For example, in Middle Tennessee in the Division II A division, there are about 8 freshmen on one side doing work at the varsity level. Geez, that's exciting. That means this game is in good hands and only is going to get better.

Look, I am a big advocate for women's basketball. I love the WNBA, the game at the collegiate level, and of course at the high school level as well. We've got some special young ladies who will be making some noise at the next level. They just know how to elevate their game when they play and they continue to get better. They put in the extra work. They are hungry, know the importance of doing work outside of just practice, and have a will to win.

The Top 100 2028 rankings just dropped and these young ladies who we will be covering the next four years will be prime time material for colleges down the stretch. Let me introduce to you the Top 5 from the class of 2028.

“Mo Mo” is the truth. The Allen Iverson of women's basketball in Tennessee, this girl is crazy good. A fearless competitor who backs down from no one, she is going to give an opponent fits from all three levels. Can play off the bounce, pull up, get to the rim, and turn around and defend. Scary thing is that she was killing the league as an 8th grader, getting Miss Tennessee votes. Now, she is a freshman and doing the same darn thing. Power 4 schools are already ringing her phone and offering. Talented kid who keeps getting better.

She's cookin! Sizzlin! Dominates on the inside, can spray from out. She brings the physicality to the party and is always looking for more. A heady ball player who brings the energy. Yes, scoring is a big part of her game where she is going to give you something in the high double figures, but she's always around the ball:rebounding, steals, block shots, stuff like that sets her apart because it always leads to extra possessions for her ball club. This kid is solid. She's the next big thing coming from the Webb Lady Feet program.

Physical being who dominates the interior. When I say she looks like she brings the pain, buddy she is there to eviscerate the opposition. This kid can face up, play back to the basketball, be utilized in the screen game, whatever it may be, she is going to finish. Has a nice touch from her shot release, it's either gonna swish or kiss off the glass. On the defensive end, she anchors the paint. It's a block party and a lockdown on the boards. This kid is special and will continue to get better over the course of her career.

Big guard who can do all things. She is like “Go Go Gadget” on the defensive end. She puts her opponents in the seatbelt. She'll block shots, pick your pocket, pretty much wreak havoc on the defensive end. Offensively, she can knock it down from the arc, but playing off the bounce and either pulling up or getting to the rim is what she does best. This kid is a mismatch nightly, cause teams can't match her size, speed, nor her energy. A tough competitor who is something Blackman hasn't had in a long time. A big guard who can move, shake, rattle & roll. Keep an eye on this kid for sure.

Let's just say not your typical PG cause she has some sauce in her game. This kid can score it from all three levels, but you might as well call her a delivery girl cause she knows how to get it to her teammates on time. She's shifty with the rock in her hand, keeping her head up at all times. She knows how to break down an opponent, getting to favorable spots to exploit. This kid is going to go at you, through you, and then turn around and defend. She's special. Don't let the size fool you. Just know her game speaks volumes and her style of play impacts the game.
