[player_tooltip player_id='992816' first='Ameerah' last='Conyers'] is a member of the 2029 Palmetto State Class.

Conyers who plays volleyball in the fall finished the night with 19 points, 25 rebounds and 8 blocks shots. Ameerah does a nice job of keeping the ball up high when collecting it off the glass. She embraces on being a post player playing down on the block and going to work. Ameerah has good quick feet to run down balls outside of her area on the floor. She does a nice job of altering and challenging shots on the defensive end. Ameerah hasn't scratched the surface of her potential yet moving forward.

She came into the contest today averaging 11.2 ppg, 11.1 rebounds and 3.1 blocks.

Mullins HS Features Plenty of Youth on Roster:

Mullins Head Coach Myron Gerald has a very young roster. The Lady Auctioneers saw 4 freshmen play extensive minutes here today. [player_tooltip player_id='1052688' first='Breanna' last='Ford'], [player_tooltip player_id='1052687' first='Na'Riyah' last='Woodberry'], [player_tooltip player_id='1131794' first='Aliyah' last='Tisdale'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1132794' first='TaMonei' last='Brock'].

Ford finished with 21 points and kept the Lady Auctioneers in the game until the bitter end. The left-handed Ford came up with big shot and bucket time after time it seemed. She was able to lower her should at times and drive to the basket while drawing contact. Breanna showcased a nice euro step move to the bucket. She plays the game pretty crafty for her young age.

Woodberry ended the night with 14 points in the loss. Na'Riyah plays the game extremely unselfish. She was able to finish some mid-range jumpers when she wasn't attacking or slashing to the bucket. Na'Riyah plays the game very poised on the floor for her young age. She has very good shot selection with her game.

Tisdale and Brock both supplied good minutes down in the pain for the Lady Auctioneers. Tisdale was able to connect on some short corner jumpers when she wasn't looking to post up. Aliyah is a good passer from the post position. She must develop a post move moving down the road.

Brock is best suited in the half court setting and playing down in the paint with her back to the basket. She really showed a great touch from the foul line. TaMonei keeps the ball up high after claiming it off the glass.

Small Roster:

The Lady Monarchs only dressed 9 players here tonight for Head Coach Justin Johnson. Ashanti McLeod is a new name for the database moving forward. McLeod a point guard finished with 13 points tonight in the win. Sophomore Taniya Johnson a guard finished with 8 points before fouling out with 5:25 left in the game. Johnson came on strong in the 2nd half scoring some putbacks on the glass. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='262016' first='Tahirah' last='Wellington'] fouled out with 3:06 left with Manning HS leading 50-47 in the game. Wellington a slender-sleek forward finished with 7 points.

The Lady Monarchs will certainly need all hands-on deck this season with a small roster.
