I've been to 50 games so far this season, and plenty of kids have played well in those games. Today, I want to highlight some lesser-known names who've impressed me in person this season. None of the players I'll mention are committed to a school.

Jaidyn Sullivan

I haven't seen a Columbus team play in a few years, and they are in a transitional phase after their 23s and 24s graduated. Sullivan is a physical forward and played well in a frustrating game against a talented Vel Phillips Memorial team. Sullivan did a solid job getting her hands on the ball in Columbus' full-court press. Sullivan finished pushing a double-double with 13pts and 8rebs. She may not earn plaudits from people around the state, but small schools should take a look at her if they get a chance.

[player_tooltip player_id='509714' first='SaDera' last='Richardson']

The Beloit Memorial guard nearly pulled her Purple Knight team back from a 20-point deficit against a solid Westosha Central team. Richardson is an undersized guard who plays physically. Richardson isn't afraid of attacking multiple kids around the rim and playing through contact. However, her ability to knock down shots can alter how defenses decide to defend Beloit Memorial. I also love how she approaches the defensive end. Richardson can pick up her assignment full-court and harass them for a full 36 minutes and make their lives miserable. I love watching her attack off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='814306' first='Devin' last='Larson']

Hudson has loads of younger talent in their ranks, and Larson is one of them. Larson controls the tempo of the Raiders' offense, and when Hudson is at their best, Larson is the one controlling the offense. The guard has the skill to score and create her shot but loves to create for others. I'd assume that others would love playing with her because she wants to make life easier for the people around her. However, whenever she shoots, I believe it's going in. A high school coach and I have watched her the past two years at the Kettle Moraine Thanksgiving Classic and have been fans of her.

[player_tooltip player_id='914983' first='Beanie' last='Thompson']

The Edgewood sophomore's motor is unmatched, and I think any coach who watches her would love that about her. She reminds me a lot of G. Acompanado from Pius. They both rebound the ball at a high level for guards, defend at a high level, and don't shoot the ball from the perimeter much, but Thompson shoots ever so slightly more. The Crusader has already played a rotational role for a state championship team last season and is a starter for an Edgewood team attempting to jump from D3 to D2 and win back-to-back state titles.
