The Hudson lead guard is a well-rounded kid who does what she needs to help her team win games. Larson is capable of knocking down shots and recording 20 points on any given night at the high-school level. However, she is also willing to be the fulcrum of her team’s offense and make plays for others. She’s willing to make passes through small windows and get kids open looks. Above all else, Larson is a kid who does everything with the sole purpose of winning and is willing to sacrifice to make that happen.

Sophomore Devin Larson Devin Larson 5'6" | PG Hudson | 2027 State WI is a versatile scorer with a smooth stroke, and she consistently hits shots from both mid-range and beyond the arc. She leads Hudson with 10.4 points per game and shoots 37% from three-point range. Larson is a smart, disciplined player who takes care of the basketball and makes sound decisions on the court. Her ability to penetrate the paint not only creates scoring opportunities for herself but also opens up the defense, allowing her to deliver precise passes to her teammates. She is a standout playmaker and she showcased her all-around skills in Hudson’s recent win over Stevens Point, contributing 13 points and 8 assists to secure the victory.

I watched Larson in person once when Hudson came down to Kettle Moraine to play against Hartford. In that game, Larson showed her quickness and activity on the defensive end of the floor. Over the season, she accumulated excellent performances in the BRC and showed some flashes of upside all year. Larson’s another player who didn’t have as high of usage as others but was a nuisance for opposing ball handlers, and her speed helped her generate transition points. The part to follow with her is how she handles the increase in usage next season with the Raiders’ talented senior class in college.
