Conan’s Coverage: Crazy Eights For The Great Eight

Captain Conan loves hockey, and in this report, the hockey world and Kansas prep girls' basketball collide.

Alex Ovechkin, “The Great Eight,” needs just 13 goals to eclipse Wayne Gretzky's record for the most career goals.

Therefore to honor Ovechkin during his chase, which includes a home game tonight against Calgary here is a report inspired by MY last hockey game of the night in St. Louis, which I developed while on this morning's drive to the “Gateway To The West.”

Each athlete featured in this report is averaging either eight-plus points or rebounds per game. This is not an all-inclusive list. I selected 13 athletes to feature, one for each goal Ovi needs to catch the “The Great One.”
