February's Closing Statements Pt. 2

With the regular season coming to a close, many awards have been broadcasted. There's been a select number of girls that've really performed at pronounced levels. This is a quick glance simply to recognize those that've achieved and played exceptionally this month. Below are 5 more signified performers. This is the second part to the conversation. The senior power forward had 20 pts, 8 reb and 2 stl in a great team win over Hamden Hall. The 2-way play was igniting for teammates as she scored significant basket after significant basket. Her defense was governing in the post and on the perimeter, she remained supremely agile. Henry was terrific in this game.     [player_tooltip player_id='1049681' first='Abby' last='Gametchu-Walker'] (2026) | 5'9 Wing | BB&N   Abby has been playing steady lately. In these last couple of games this month, she's had 2 balanced 13 pt games, as well as a 19-point game. She was a willing shooter that really extended the floor in these matchups. The stable play lends a helping hand to her team as they compete. The junior guard's potential as a 2-way shooting wing, make her a '26 player to watch. The overall development throughout the offseason will be intriguing.     Mackenzi Mori (2025) | 5'11 SG | Hamden Hall   Mori is a FAA All-Star this season due to her undeviating gameplay throughout the year. The Maine commit has been thoroughly awesome. Her ability to generate points from a multitude of areas must be mentioned. She can be dominant on or off the ball and she has an impact on winning. Mori puts constant pressure on the defense; her special skillset has made her noteworthy throughout her career. This has been a fantastic all-inclusive year for Mackenzie.     [player_tooltip player_id='278582' first='Olivia' last='Fleming'] (2026) | 5'7 PG | NMH   Olivia is now a 2x NEPSACGBA All-Star. Her remarkable abilities have been on full display and the high ranking at her position has been corroborated. She has been an ascending prospect this year, but the dynamic play has propelled her to new heights. The progression in her game from last year to this year has been phenomenal to watch. Olivia has truly been a dreaded cover for the opposing guards. Her tempo as well as her rhythm while probing describe a point that knows exactly what she's doing. The effectiveness of her initiations is unlike any other and some would say put her in a class of her own. The downhill playmaking, pick & roll assessments, decisive decision-making, facilitation of the offense, aggressive defense plus her timely creation skills all form together to make an absolutely stunning player.     [player_tooltip player_id='1116049' first='Jordyn' last='Elwood'] (2028) | PG | Wareham   Whenever do the words "freshman" and "captain" go together? Elwood is the rarity here. The '28 guard has been providing essential playmaking for the Vikings all season. Jordyn has been showcasing her exceptionally efforted play that's been absolutely infectious with her teammates. She plays the right way and that's been highly rewarding her year in her first season. The young point guard was just recently named a MAC All-Star, an expectational honor for a freshman. Expect Elwood to climb the nearing rankings after such a successful campaign early in her career.
