Adrianna Hever, 5'9 W - St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2025

The southpaw was my POTG the other night in St. J's showdown vs MMU, the #1 vs #2 in VT's top division. It was her aggressive + efficient scoring which paced her impact. Her 3 was falling, she got into the 2nd layer off 1-2 dribbles and finished a variety of interior shots to set the tone. From there, she found gaps to exploit as a distributor to spread the wealth. Moreover, Adrianna is someone who can pick up anybody and own her space in St. J's zone, rebound the rock, and make a play in the open court. A 2-way presence who's scoring is strong as ever.

Rowan Butler, 5'10 W - Mount Mansfield Union H.S. Class of 2025

Seeing Rowan's inside/outside presence has her on the rise. Butler was a key component in unlocking St. J's zone the other night, flashing into space right on time and finishing with short-range shots or slip passes for buckets. Yet she's comfortable on the perimeter too, showing the 3 off the catch and passing which keeps the rock moving. On the other end, she often fronts the 1-3-1 zone, operating as a disruptor with her length and pressure. A solid senior who's confident as ever.

Kelsie Rivard, 5'10 W - Hazen Union H.S. Class of 2027

With Rivard, you get a bit of everything. She's an agile cover defensively, able to pick up 2-5 in Hazen's fullcourt pressure and adapt to each matchup intuitively. Her length is disruptive and with her anticipation Rivard can fly around the court, deflect passes and/or recover to halt an opponent advantage. Kelsie's rebounding effort is strong and she's liable to go coast-to-coast. An offensive power, Rivard's ability to post and finish is obvious, her 1-2 dribble drives tough to cover, and she has a jumper off the catch that routinely falls. A high-energy swiss-army knife.

Colleen Sonnick, 5'11 W - Essex H.S. Class of 2027

Averaging around 12 ppg., Colleen brings steady offense for the Hornets. She's a lefty who can create her own look with the pull-up in mid-range or toughness at the rim, bringing a necessary inside/out ingredient for this team. In addition to her own creation, Sonnick moves well off the ball to locate gaps to exploit. And then on the defensive end, she's someone who covers 3-4, using her wingspan to cover ground and her size to rebound, and then she has open court possibilities. A unique player who continues to grow.

Kyra Nelson, 5'10 W - St. Johnsbury Academy Class of 2025

Nelson knows her role and plays it to a tee. Kyra's defensive impact is due to her good footwork and length. She'll often operate at the top of the zone, using that wingspan and aggressiveness to cut off passing windows and capture long rebounds. On the offensive end, she's a savvy cutter who finds open space inside for sneaky finishes. Yet she can roam along the perimeter too, knocking down open looks from the mid-range out to 3 with good shot selection. Someone who works hard and is efficient in the offense.

Harper Guthiem, 5'10 W - Burlington H.S. Class of 2027

We all know that player who takes care of so many important details and dirty work. Guthiem provides that effort for BHS with her versatile 2-way activity and rebounding. Harper can lock in on various offensive weapons both on and off the ball with her good frame and footwork. She's a physical player who moves into help naturally, can switch onto anyone, and boxes out + hits the glass. Her runs in transition put pressure on defenses, and in the halfcourt she's quick to move, cutting and screening to get everyone moving. Versatile with good instincts.
