[player_tooltip player_id='282621' first='Jaizzy' last='Santiago'] (2026) | 5'4 CG | MSC

Santiago has come out swinging this season. She's been showing why she's considered one of the premier playmakers in Rhode Island. Jaizzy has been effective knocking down shots on the catch or off the bounce. Plus, she's still displaying that signature crafty handle she's known for as she gets to her spots. Even with her finding herself playing more of an off-guard position lately Jaizy has still been just as notable. One of her more eye-catching moments early on this season was her 7 bigtime 3-pointers in the MSC's matchup vs Austin Prep. Santiago should certainly be receiving more calls from schools. She's showing she can be a verstile guard and can certainly aid a program that's in need of a creative upbeat guard.

Cortney has been showing up in a critical way for St. Mark's. She's already been mentioned this season for her impressive performance, but here Howell is again after a 59-52 win over Thayer. In this matchup Cortney had a double-double with 25 pts while also bringing in 10 reb. It's looking like it'll be hard for the competition to put a stop to the high-motor forward.

Just had a 33-point performance the other day and put up 23 against Phillips Exter last weekend. Danielle has justifiably been mentioned many times through the summer, leading up to now. This is a premier guard that's one of the brightest young players around and she's making a serious statement. Davidson has been everything Wheeler has hoped for, plus more. Her influence on the game is just unmatched. The '30 guard has shown early on that she can overwhelm the competition on both sides of the ball. Her big play ability shines bright regardless of whoever shares the court with her. The tools have always been there, but Danielle is putting everything together now. She's on pace to do some special things this season.

What a statement Lilley made last weekend. The Darrow guard had 32 points, with 24 of them coming from behind the 3-point line. Brooke was fantastic from deep, connecting on a good number of her attempts. The 8 deep balls helped get Darrow a convincing win 99-34. Lilley was also able to have 6 steals in this matchup. With the '27 guard showing this level of potency, she's showing another reason why Darrow can be so dangerous. Their roster runs deep, particularly in the guard category and they can neutralize some of the heaviest competition that's ahead for them.

Moser is a fabulous on-ball creator that would have even the best of the point of attack defenders on their heels. This season she's came out asserting herself. She's shown that she can make plays at an elite level. Moser is one of the best creators off counters around. The change of speeds, heights and pace makes her one of the most potent upperclassmen guards.

Gianna has showed she's heavily trusted to run the offense as well as create for herself as needed. The senior had a double-double performance against a very tough Tabor team last weekend. She put up 24 points and had 10 rebounds, with 8 of those coming on the defensive glass. If Nichols continues pouring this level of production out, the competition should be worried. It's becoming even more clear why Gianna is considered one of the most dynamic lead guards in the region. NEPSAC should be on notice this season.

Talk about someone starting the season off hot. It's been abundantly clear that she's a top 10 player in the class, some would even argue top 5. Nevertheless, Kiera is a phenomenal player that makes a significant difference for her team. Paradis makes smart decisions with the ball in her hand that lead to positive outcomes regularly. She has excellent counters for pesty defenders plus she gets to her spots with ease. The level of comfortability and sheer poise she possesses while under pressure can't go unmentioned either. Paradis flat-out makes tough shots look easy. Most recognize her offensive firepower, but the '28 point brings so much more to the table though. Paradis has affected the glass in a major way, showing fight and securing possessions amongst the trees downlow. The defense is where the value absolutely skyrockets. Kiera's ability to absorb contact and the way she forces ballhandlers to change direction can significantly mess up a gameplan. Paradis a gem of a player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1349924' first='Ariella' last='Caraballo'] (2030) | PG |

A 30-point performance to cap off a birthday is a wonderful gift to self. Ariella was a main factor in her team getting the win 51-29. The downhill attacks were often and couldn't be stopped. She was so effective because of the ability to get to her desired spots before the defense was able to set up. Caraballo's decisiveness as she carved the lane was also striking. Not to mention the plethora of finishes she was able to get over the multiple defenders.

Caraballo is name to keep watching with her class, it's likely that she'll be a stock riser this season. The playmaking, scoring acumen plus the ability to read defenses is all there. Now it's just about showing consistency as she dominates at her level.

Padilla is one of the most purely talented 8th grade scorers watched this season. She puts up video game numbers when given the opportunity and absolutely makes the defense pay for bad coverage. Haniyah started off the season with a 30-pt, 4 reb, 5 ast game for Saint James. Expect to her name featured a lot more this season. She's ranked #4 for a reason. There's just not too many young explosive shot makers that possess the firepower Padilla does.

The fantastic freshman has been marvelous addition to her squad. Olivia has been looking quite nice in her new threads as she's returned back to play for her home state of Maine. Oceanside has one of the best players in all of '29 and she's looking freshly retuned. Olivia has been seemingly playing with a chip on her shoulder since her return. It's unclear if it's the excitement coming back from injury or just the pure drive to show the opponents what they've been missing. However, what's been obvious is that Breen has been on a mission, displaying a true sense of competitiveness.

The 6'2 forward had 20-point game a few nights back, demonstrating just how versatile of a piece she can be while playing alongside star senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1196884' first='Maddie' last='Provost']. It's hard to argue Breen is anything other than a top 5 player in New England's talented '29 pool.
