Southern Arizona 4A Playoffs: under the radar performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 4A Teams in Southern Arizona are positioned well to have success in this year's State Tournament. Salpointe Catholic is the #1 Overall seed in Arizona and has home-court advantage in the quarterfinals. They have a very tough road to win the State title but look to be in a great position and are the favorite. Mica Mountain, the #4 seed in 4A, has a great shot to advance as #1 Salpointe and #2 Mesquite will be in the Open Bracket. That leaves them as one of the favorites to get to the State Title game. She is strong, she is versatile, and she is gaining confidence. She is a good rebounder and she is a solid rim protector for the Thunderbolts. She is a very good shooter and she is a confident shooter. She is not intimidated by big moments in big games. She is a good ball handler and she stays within her role on offense. She is also a very good defender that can defend 3 positions. She adds size to this squad which is critical for them to win it all. She adds toughness, rebounding, and rim protection for Salpointe. She can do a lot of things for the Lancers. She can score on all 3 levels, she can defend multiple positions, and she can handle the ball. She is an experienced player that is so critical at this time of year. She is an outstanding combo guard who has taken over the point guard position for the Lady Bulldogs since they lost their starter to injury. She is a very good passer and is excellent in the fast break with the ball in her hand. And to go with all that, she is a deadly shooter from 3-point range. They lost their point guard earlier in the season and Serenity is their best shooter. She attacks the basket with tremendous intensity and creates scoring opportunities for herself at the free-throw line. She is also a big athletic guard/small forward who will need to be very active on defense for Ironwood Ridge.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
