The GOAT, X-Factors, and Underdogs in Class 1A

Grandview Prep is the team that is the overwhelming favorite to win the Class 1A title. These players have had impactful moments throughout the season and will play a major role in bringing home the championship. Price can shoot the rock and she can string up a bunch of threes in a short period of time. Price is versatile and can play several positions on the floor. She can handle the ball and she can pass the ball. Price just makes the right play on the floor. She has a high IQ and she plays and thinks like a coach on the floor.     [player_tooltip player_id='900318' first='Kayla' last='Greyvensteyn'] is another player who could be the "X" Factor when it's all said and done. Greyvensteyn is a talented player who is very unselfish on the floor. She has weapons around her and does a good job of getting the ball to all of them, especially to Girardi. Greyvensteyn can shoot the ball from all three levels on the floor, and she can get to the rim and score. The degree of difficulty on some of her shots are unreal. On any other team, she could be the catalyst. On this team, she is an X Factor and loves the role.       [player_tooltip player_id='1091383' first='Seanna' last='Crooks'] is one of the X Factors in Class 1A. Her game is versatile and she brings power, physicality, and an ability to run the floor. Crooks has been impressive and consistently good all season long. She does it all. She rebounds well, scores on the inside, and can run the floor and score. She has the ability to make difficult plays look routine. Crooks could "steal" the show and be the X-Factor in the Final Four. Kamara can shoot the ball and is an aggressive scorer. Heading into the State Finals, Kamara has made 80 threes at a 43 percent rate. She had three games where she scored at least six three-pointers in the game. It will take that kind of special shooting effort to get past Grandview Prep. She is a hidden gem on the First Coast who can score, facilitate, and defend. Houston can score at all three levels. Houston has a natural feel for the game and is a competitor. Houston has shown that she is a player to be reckoned with in North Florida. She will look to make a similar statement during the Semifinals.     Jordann Sibley (cover) is another under the radar player in Class 1A. Sibley plays with heart and soul and her efforts been key in getting her team to this point. Wiley can handle the ball, plays good defense and can score the basketball, especially around the goal. The young guard plays well in transition and loves to get to the rim. She is an effort player who doesn't mind diving on the floor for loose balls.
