<p>With the state tournaments looming and teams securing their spots for a chance to win a state title, I took a look into each district within each class to see who's headed to the state tournaments.</p>

<p>In the battle of the play in game, 4th seed Mount Baker hosted 5th seed Blaine. Mount Baker, with [player_tooltip player_id='1259629' first='Rebeca' last='Soares'] leading the way took home the win 43-35. </p>

<p>Number 2 seed Nooksack Valley would host 3 seed Meridian in the semi-final round. The Pioneers took home the win, 51-40. Number 1 seed Lynden Christian played 4th seed Mount Baker. The Lyncs would take home the win with ease, 72-15. </p>

<p>In the District 1 championship game and a trip to the D1/D2 crossover on the line, Lynden Christian took on Nooksack Valley. The Lyncs would take the win, 59-30 with Nooksack Valley heading down to play the winner of the loser out game. In the loser out game, Meridian defeated Mount Baker, 45-27 to survive another game.</p>

<p>With 1 more spot left in the D1/D2 crossover, Nooksack Valley took on Meridian. It was a great battle with both teams having their seasons on the line. [player_tooltip player_id='1192035' first='Grace' last='DeHoog'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1126665' first='Kate' last='Shintaffer'] helped lead the team as Nooksack Valley would win with ease, 64-44 and advance on with Meridian having their season end. </p>
