Regarding individual scoring, this has been one of the greatest seasons in Arkansas female high school basketball history. 4 players have surpassed 50 points in a game this season, which had only been done 8 times since the Arkansas Activities Association started keeping records.

Not all the players highlighted in this article scored 50 this season. The remaining few are players who I believe have the potential to reach that mark before the end of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1195988' first='D'Mya' last='Eason'] put up 56 points in an overtime win over Warren back in November. Everything was going right for the senior and it was clear that no one on the court could stop her.

Eason's 56 points are the 3rd-most to be scored in a game in Arkansas high school girls basketball history. She was hitting shots from the inside, finishing through traffic, and hitting threes in the clutch. She was knocking down jumpers off the catch and from around screens.

Eason did more than just score, as she pulled down 13 rebounds and came away with 4 steals. She was usually scoring in transition off those steals, as well as scoring second-chance points from several offensive rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1195988' first='D'Mya' last='Eason'] is highly underrated in the state of Arkansas, but she can score at will. Lonoke has had a rough season, with only 2 wins in conference play, but they have one more game in the regular season, so we could see Eason have another 50-point outing. Find a way to watch Lonoke's bout against Trumann tomorrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1051967' first='Za'Niya' last='Mooney'] has had some dominant moments this season, but she was at her peak against Crossett earlier this month, where she scored the 6th-most points in a game in Arkansas high school girls' basketball history.

The senior posted 54 points in the victory on the 11th. She also joined the 1,000 career rebound club in that game, a couple of months after joining the 1,000 career point club.

Mooney is a dominant post scorer. Once she has positioning on the block, no one can stop her. She can back down defenders with ease, turning and shooting over or through them. Mooney can also step outside and knock down some threes. She has a solid shooting stroke, becoming a major problem for defenses.

The AAA has yet to update their record books, but pretty soon, [player_tooltip player_id='1051967' first='Za'Niya' last='Mooney']'s February 11th performance will be cemented in time as one of the best single-game performances ever by a player in this state.

Aubrey Blair is tied with Bergman legend Emily Nichols for the 10th most points scored in a game in Arkansas high school girls' basketball history. Though Blair is a phenomenal softball player who will be going to UCA to play at the next level, she is also one of the best hoopers the 2A has to offer.

Blair scored a Grant in Marshall's February 8th victory over Lead Hill. She surpassed 1,500 career points in that performance, solidifying herself as one of the all-time great Marshall Bobcats. The senior also pulled down 13 rebounds, and her outside shooting was her calling card in that performance.

Blair knocked down 6 3-pointers against Lead Hill. Because of her outside presence, the defense tightened its pressure against her, which caused the inside lanes to open up, allowing Blair to have plenty of open interior looks.

I think [player_tooltip player_id='1186532' first='Audrey' last='Blair'] could easily be a star on the hardwood, but I am sure she will find plenty of success on the diamond for the Bears.

For those of you who are familiar with the Heartland Christian Athletic Association, you are not surprised to see [player_tooltip player_id='1090243' first='Oaklee' last='Lofton'] mentioned in this article. Though the Heartland is not aligned with the AAA (which means any stats from schools in the Heartland are not recognized by the AAA and therefore are not entered into their record books), they have some fantastic basketball players.

As far as I can tell, Lofton has had 2 50-point performances this season. They were actually both 51-point performances, with her most recent coming against Gospel Light Christian on the 10th of February, and the other coming against Chrisitan Ministries Academy in late January. She has also had a plethora of 40- and 30-point games this season.

Lofton will probably go down as the greatest player to suit up for Legacy Academy. She averages 31 points per game this season and she is a ridiculously good 3-point shooter. Lofton is always in attack mode as well, looking to drive and take the defense inside off the bounce every chance she gets.

About this time last season, [player_tooltip player_id='1090243' first='Oaklee' last='Lofton'] had a 58-point performance against Garrett Memorial, which would be tied for 2nd most in a game according to the AAA record books. This just shows how dominant of a scorer she has been during her time as a Lady Warrior.

Here are some players who I believe could score 50+ before their careers are over:

[player_tooltip player_id='1060807' first='Da'Mya' last='Wilson']- There is just something about the name "Da'Mya" and scoring 50 points that is too hard to ignore. Up until [player_tooltip player_id='1195988' first='D'Mya' last='Eason'] scored 56 against Warren, no one had done it since Barton's [player_tooltip player_id='1060807' first='Da'Mya' last='Wilson'] back in 2022. She scored 55 points, which at the time was 3rd most all-time by a player in Arkansas. Wilson was just a freshman when she entered this exclusive club and I think she can do it again. Barton has concluded its regular season after a win against Cutter-Morning Star, and they finished the year with a perfect conference record and only 1 overall loss. Wilson could put up that point total in the postseason, but I could see her breaking her record as a senior in 2025/26.

[player_tooltip player_id='465514' first='Jakyra' last='Jackson']- Heck, let us go ahead and throw in Wilson's star backcourt mate, [player_tooltip player_id='465514' first='Jakyra' last='Jackson']. She has had some incredible games in her career, and though there are no anymore regular season games to hit the 50-point mark, I could see her popping off in the postseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1056355' first='Destiny' last='Burks']- Burks had 40 points against Osceola back in January, and if she had found more consistency from behind the arch, she would have easily hit 50+.

[player_tooltip player_id='952547' first='Kenady' last='Barrett']- Barrett has already scored 40 this season, and scoring 30 is commonplace with her. She is just a freshman, and if she is already scoring 30+ this easily, then there is no doubt in my mind that she could hit 50. She is also a player I could see competing with Angela Davenport's record, who scored 71 points for Hartman back in 1979, which is good enough for the most points ever scored in a game in Arkansas high school girls' basketball history.

[player_tooltip player_id='1192817' first='Grace' last='Efird']- In a recent game against Prescott, Efird scored a career-high 33 points. The Bismarck star is just a freshman, so she is another potential player who could hit that mark in what could be a fruitful career.

Make sure to do whatever it takes to watch the players because you never know when they will hit that half-century mark in a game!
