To be a, “Stock-Riser”, means a few things depending on how you look at it but the most important factor in my opinion is that the prospect is continuously putting in meaningful work in their off-time and that work is translating to the floor in real game-time. In this piece, we cover another six individuals out of this 2026 Class in Nebraska, that have embodied what it means to be a Stock-Riser these past few months.

Gretna East made a big run this Winter and had a very successful season as a whole. Someone that did a great job of chipping in all season long was SG, [player_tooltip player_id='727105' first='Taryn' last='French']. French comes into this Update as the #7 overall prospect out of her 2026 Class in Nebraska, along with being the #3 rated Shooting Guard. French has a quick release on her jumper off of the catch, she has better than average length that helps her reach while attacking the defense, and she doesn't force too many unnecessary actions. Whether that's in the passing or shooting categories. This should be a big Spring season for French on the road with her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] program. She can be a game-changer so it'll be exciting to follow along these next few months.

If you are looking for a talented Forward with good size, a mixture of skilled ability, and a smart head on her shoulders - look no further. [player_tooltip player_id='759113' first='Justine' last='Tcheuhchoua'] is someone that can control the traffic in and around the paint area. With her size, she does a good job of matching the physical presence of other, bigger Posts but she can also spread things out to the perimeter as well, making her an interesting mismatch at times. She has consistently demonstrated that she can finish at the rim on the catch or off of a strong post most. She also happens to have a soft touch on the ball with coordinated balance near the basket. Tcheuhchoua's sister just committed to D1 Jackson State for her future. I wouldn't be surprised if that's going to be the same case with this one. Baring that she puts together a nice AAU season and a Senior campaign to remember to follow.

[player_tooltip player_id='502331' first='Hadley' last='Walsh'] just wants to win. I would be hard pressed to find a player that wants it more than Walsh. Pender just dominated their competition, bringing home another State Title. In the process, Walsh played her game and was a top producer on the squad because of it as a PG. If you were to study Walsh's play-style, you'd see that she kills her competition with fundamentals and working smart, compared to working hard. This isn't someone that is going to blow you away with something you have never seen before. Instead, Walsh picks her spots with confidence, she is a thorough in almost every facet of the game of Basketball, and she keeps it simple over everything else. These three things, mixed with her aggressive demeanor and playmaking ability, make this an inserting prospect. If a college coach out there is looking for someone who will leave it out on the floor, every time she competes, while also listening at a high rate - this could be the one for you out of the 2026 Class.

[player_tooltip player_id='758994' first='Abbi' last='Durow'] has proven this season that she is a main life-source for her Millard South team. Durow exploded on the Nebraska Basketball scene this Winter with her production. Each night she averaged a high number of PPG, APG, RPG, and SPG. She created these numbers by attacking her defender at a consistent rate off the dribble, by finishing on both sides of the hoop multiple times a game, by competing with a high motor, and by executing their team's game plan. Not to mention, Durow has no quit in her when she is playing. If you don't stop her or pull her off the floor, it seems like she will just keep going forever. As we move into the Spring, Durow sits at #20 rated for her Class. Something she should be proud of but not satisfied with.

Oakland-Craig capped off a their 2024-2025 high school season with a 26-3 record and a C2 State Title. These are some major accomplishments that should put a lot of their prospects, "on the map", in the recruiting world. Someone for O-C, that has been a consistent producer for years now is [player_tooltip player_id='820511' first='Briar' last='Ray']. Ray is a guard with a well-rounded skillset. She can score at all three levels offensively, proving that this season while she shot the ball at a 46% rate. She can defend her position and hold her own on that side of the ball. She can also make some clutch plays, when those opportunities present themselves. If you want to compete at the next level, you have to show up in high school and Ray shows up. Plain and simple.

I am pumped to see [program_tooltip program_id='715717' first='Nebraska' last='Supreme'] and the product that they are going to bring to the travel floor this Spring. Someone for this group that always plays with some flare and fire is [player_tooltip player_id='757575' first='Akazja' last='Foster']. Foster is shifty with the handle, she has good vision to find the teammates around her, and she is relentless in her pursuit of getting to the bucket for an AND1 finish. Foster averaged almost 4 APG this past season for her Junior year at Omaha North High School. If she does more of that this AAU season, everyone around her is going to love her for how good she is going to make them look in the long run.
