2A Championship Game Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On <strong>March 1^st </strong>the <strong>Girls 2A Basketball Championship</strong> took place at <strong>Veterans Memorial Coliseum</strong>. It was #7 <strong>Arizona Lutheran</strong> taking on #1 <strong>Miami</strong>. <strong>Miami </strong>came out at the tipoff and began running their typical fast paced game. <strong>Miami's</strong> defense was suffocating and never let <strong>Arizona Lutheran</strong> get settled. At halftime <strong>Miami</strong> held a 37-9 lead. #1 <strong>Miami </strong>won the game easily 52-22. Her combination of inside/outside skills were unmatched. She got the ball in the paint and used a variety of moves to finish. She also stepped out and shot the perimeter jumper comfortably. She got to where she wanted to offensively which usually resulted in a good shot for herself or her teammates. She played with a high IQ and good pace. She displayed a very nice-looking perimeter shot. She shot with range well beyond the three-point line.
