CIF Central Section Championship Weekend: Offensive Game Changers

More times than not, in order to bring home the title you need at least one player having a great night. While victory wasn't the case for all these athletes, their work and presence on offense had positive and unique impacts toward putting their team in a position to win. For some it was a run they sparked, for others it was a hot shooting hand or even the adjustments their presence forced on the opposing team. Sadie did it all the last 3 quarters of the game to force OT and put her Clovis in a position to win. Her offensive game was on display from every level. She hit multiple BIG 3's + pull up jumpers in transition, and one of the smoothest euro steps across the lane in traffic I've ever seen at Selland. Every time it seemed like Liberty needed a bucket in the second half, Ellee was right there to provide. On her way to a team high 18 points, she had a super tough floater in 3rd to stop Shafter's momentum and crafty euro step jumper to extend the game to 2 possessions late. Although Monache fell short in the fourth, her work in the 3rd propelled them to be in a position to have a chance to win late.
