Having a pure PG who can orchestrate the offense does wonders in the playoffs. Elite floor generals spread the ball around and handle ball pressure well, all while being a threat in the scoring department. They lead vocally. They lead by example. A true floor general has what it takes to be the extension of the coach on the floor.

There are only a handful of 2027 point guards in the state who can drop 20 points AND 10 assists. [player_tooltip player_id='1616328' first='Sarah' last='Edwards'] is one of them. She makes other players better and has mastered the art of when to score and when to pass. The tight handle, ambidextrous qualities, and body control all stand out. High-IQ guard who sees the floor extremely well! Sarah organizes the offense in the half-court while executing the gameplan to perfection. This allows the free-flowing offense to run smoothly and efficiently whenever she is at the helm. Sarah is the type of PG who gets everyone involved. If you are open on the perimeter, she will find you. If you cut to the basket, she will deliver a jaw-dropping dime. If you leak out in transition, she will deliver an outlet pass for the ages.

Pearl has elite speed with the ball in her hands. She also has the poise and ball control you're looking for in a lead guard. Fearless, energetic PG who plays much bigger than her listed height. She has a nose for the ball, making her adept at gaining possession on long rebounds and loose balls. Pearl flourishes in transition because of her ability to force a turnover and quickly turn it into two points on the other end. Quick thinking and good decision-making on the fastbreak. One standout performances earlier this year: 22 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, 6 steals. Pearl Johnson is a name to know based in Los Angeles.. a true hidden gem at the point guard position.

It is rare for a team to have two guards with the ability to control pace of play, game flow, and momentum shifts. Windward High School is in elite company. Charis has a college-ready frame to go along with an intriguing all-around game. She runs the half-court sets to perfection and keeps the ball moving. Her ability to exploit mismatches in the pick-and-roll stands out. Charis is unstoppable going downhill, which leads to wide open looks for her teammates on the perimeter. Her change of pace with the ball in her hands is a load to handle considering her 3-level scoring ability. Legit combo guard who can run the offense whenever necessary. Charis and Angelina play so well off each other. Every top team in the Southern Section is on upset alert if they run into this dynamic backcourt duo.
