We are proud to unveil the All-State Teams (1st-3rd) and Player of the Year for the 2024-2025 season! Choosing just five players seemed like an impossible task, so we decided to expand the selection to six per team.

FIRST TEAM

[player_tooltip player_id='333302' first='Mia' last='Pauldo'] | Morris Catholic

**Player of the Year

This should come as no surprise that Mia claims POY considering she was the best player in New Jersey wire-to-wire, and also one of the best players in the nation! The Tennessee commit led Morris Catholic to yet another State Chip, this time in the Non-Public A classification, and an undefeated 28-0 record. Mia shines the brightest on the biggest stages against the toughest teams in the state and across the country; 26 points vs St. Frances (MD) 17 points vs Archbishop Mitty (CA), 30 points (season-high) vs Rutgers Prep (NJ), 29 points vs Montclair Immaculate (NJ), 20 points vs Red Bank Catholic (NJ). She tallied 15 points vs (then) undefeated Paul VI in the State Final to cap off a highly decorated, illustrious basketball career. She finished her career with 2,143 points and is one of the best to ever come out of the Garden State.

[player_tooltip player_id='333305' first='Mya' last='Pauldo'] | Morris Catholic

Mya saved the best for last! The future Lady Vol was stellar in Year 4, earning State Chip MVP honors (game-high 21 points) and helping the Crusaders to an unblemished record. She did damage against wickedly talented teams; 17 points vs Gill St. Bernard's (NJ), 16 points vs Mitty (CA), 21 points vs St. John Vianney (NJ), 19 points vs Montclair Immaculate (NJ). She turned up the heat in the postseason on her way to averages of 20.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg & 3.8 apg. Her season-high came against DePaul in the NJNPA semis. She wrapped up her HS career totaling 1,559 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='591477' first='Gandy' last='Malou-Mamel'] | Gill St. Bernard's

Gandy was a menacing post presence for the Knights this season averaging 17.1 ppg, 10.2 rpg & 2.2 bpg. Teams had no answer for the double-double and rebounding machine, and single coverage on her was just foolish! She had her way against the best teams on the schedule; 25 points & 12 rebounds vs Virginia Academy (VA), 20 points & 16 rebounds vs St. Rose (NJ), 23 points & 11 rebounds vs Dexter (MA), 25 points & 13 rebounds vs Hillsborough (NJ). Tall, agile and strong! She averaged 18.0 ppg & 12.0 rpg in two March playoff games. In 3 years of HS ball, she tallied 1,144 points! UConn is getting one tough player next year!

[player_tooltip player_id='583701' first='Francesca' last='Schiro'] | Hillsborough

Francesca kept her foot on the gas from start to finish! The senior and Siena commit put together a phenomenal season that saw her tally 676 points and lead her team to a Group 4 State Chip! She recorded five 30-point games, including a season-high 35 against Moorestown and was a terror in the postseason, averaging 18.2 ppg, 6.7 rpg & 4.2 apg through six games. She finished her incredible career with 2,106 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='559070' first='Jada' last='Lynch'] | St. Rose

The Belgian-American superstar put together one heck of a season, including an eye-popping 40-point performance against Red Bank Catholic to kick off the new year! She tallied 548 points in 28 games this season, good for 19.6 ppg and eclipsed 1,000 career points in January against Bayonne. She recorded 3 double-doubles and two 30-point games, including a game-high 30 in the SJNPA semis vs RBC. Other notable outings include 23 points in the season-opener vs Ranney and 38 points combined in two meetings with St. John Vianney. She is the only non-senior to make First Team.

[player_tooltip player_id='782573' first='Anaya' last='Karriem'] | West Orange

AK did her big one in Year 4! She notched three triple-doubles this season and twenty-five double-doubles, including a season-high 24 points (vs Newark Academy) and career-high 31 rebounds (vs Montclair Immaculate). Other impressive performances against top teams include 20 & 12 vs Morris Catholic (NJ), 14 & 17 vs Chatham and 23 & 16 in the Group 4 State Final vs Hillsborough.

SECOND TEAM

[player_tooltip player_id='789189' first='Brooke' last='Stagliano'] | Paul VI

Brooke was one of this season's biggest stock-risers with an epic breakout sophomore year! She led Paul VI to a NPA State Final appearance and a 27-1 record averaging 14.3 ppg, 2.7 rpg 1.9 apg & 1.7 spg.
