Central Valley earned the 1 seed going into the 3A state tournament with Gosney playing a huge role all season long. She is a lethal three point shooter and can let it fly from well beyond the line. She has quick instincts on the court and often makes the correct play in a split second. Her defensive presence is known as she causes many turnovers by getting in the passing lanes and anticipating well. She is patient with the ball in her hands and knows her offense well. She is excellent in the pick and roll game, coming off screens well and being able to find her big that rolls hard down the paint. Allison sets great screens, rolling hard to the paint and being able to finish with both hands. She can also pop on the screen and step out to hit some deep shots.
