Genie shot 12-16 from the field and 7-11. Genie is a straight up baller; she was getting everything she wanted when she wanted it. She showed fight from start to finish, she never backed down. I loved the leadership I saw from Genie; her effort and leadership gave her team momentum multiple times throughout the game. Genie averaged 14.3 points per game, 5.3 assists per game, 8.6 rebounds per game, 5.3 steals per game and 2.4 blocks per game throughout the 2024-2025 season. She just exudes confidence and that is a crucial characteristic to have in a championship game.
