When George Washington takes the court for their first round game, they will be behind senior CG Grajeda. This guard is good all over the court. She has nice handles and can get the ball through pressure in the full court. Look for Abryanna to get to the hoop for strong finishes and earn some free throws as well. Grajeda can shoot the ball as well, she is efficient from mid-range and from behind the three point line. On defense she uses her 5'10" frame well. With long arms and quick feet, she gets steals in presses and in the half court. At her height, she is always cleaning up on the boards. Make sure to check out Abryanna as she is taking the court for her senior playoff run.

Cain is a great freshman for George Washington. She is tall for her shooting guard postion, which is nice because she is also a great passer. She sees the court well to find her open teammates and her own scoring opportunities. She weaves through traffic to get to the basket and finishes strong at the rim. She can score from 2pt range all over the court and step behind the arch to hit from the three. As a freshman, Michele, is definitely impactful for the Patriots on the offensive end. Defensively, she holds her own too. She is long and quick and applies pressure to dribblers and shooters all over the court. She is great at using her length to snatch rebounds, look for her to cleanup on the boards. This freshman will have no problem in her first playoff game.

Bates is a key for Golden in the playoffs. She is a quiet scorer with handles to go right along. She can handle the ball in full court pressure and in the half court traffic. She gets the ball to her teammates very well and also finds places for her to get her points too. She is a shooter that is comfortable from the paint, to the mid-range and from behind the arch as well. On defense, Ashlyn always seems to be a part of all the key plays for the Demons. She can defend in the press and in the half court. She is also sneaky in helpside getting steals from bigger post players. A junior leader for Golden, she will help the team make a strong push into the post season.

As a freshman Herrmann is among some really great players at Roosevelt, but she has no problem making a name for herself. At 5'6" she plays much bigger. She has the handles to get through traffic and create opportunites for her teammates and herself. She is a shooter first and is consistent on the offensive end from all ranges. She isn't afraid to battle in the paint for tough buckets and even grab a couple offensive rebounds. On D, Allison is tough for dribblers and shooters both. She has the quick and hands and feet to keep players contained. Look for her to be in the paint getting steals from helpside too. Roosevelt always makes stong playoff runs. Herrmann will definitely help keep them alive.

Summit High will look at Closer alot in their first round game. She is a tough center for the team, earning her buckets through strong post up postion and great footwork in the paint. River is a great target on the block for her teammates and also does the other dirty work like setting good screens and cleaning up on the boards. She can also play face up to the basket and can get buckets all through the high post. River is a defensive force as well. She is long and does a great job of keeping her players from holding their position on her. She is a great helper on guards that make it into the paint, she will get the blocks and rebounds the Tigers need to be competitive throughout the playoffs.

At Green Mountain, they have plenty of scoring power. Evans is definitely one of those powers for the Rams. She is a taller guard who can play from both the wing and inside at the high post, making her a threat to both smaller guards and bigger posts. She has nice handles and can get to the rim for buckets. As a SG, she can catch and shoot in 2pt range and 3pt range efficiently all game long. Addison is strong on defense as well. She uses her height to get steals from dribblers and shooters on the wings, but is also grabbing those strong rebounds in the paint. Evans gives Green Mountain a boost through her ability to play many spots on the court. Look for her to play this same, important role in through their playoff run.
