The spring season has been a big stage for 16U players to show how much they've developed their games. From new roles to expanded skill sets, these girls are stepping up and making a name for themselves early on. Here's a look at a few 16U players who have been standing out this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='736186' first='Michaela' last='Halton'] made her presence felt on both ends of the court all weekend long. She consistently defends full court disrupting the opposing team's flow. Offensively, she was able to get downhill with ease and knock down open shots when defenders sagged off.

With her size and strength, [player_tooltip player_id='792712' first='Tiana' last='Rogers'] has been a dominant presence in the post. She's also expanding her game to the perimeter becoming a more reliable shooter when left open and showing she can attack off the dribble. Her ability to impact the game in multiple ways has made her a problem for opponents to deal with.

Devyn has more freedom offensively with this Hoopsters group, and she's using it to be creative and get others involved. She's become a more confident three-point shooter and is getting craftier finishing around the rim. On the defensive end she's versatile enough to guard multiple positions, taking on assignments from guards to wings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1161514' first='Jaya' last='White']'s ability to control the tempo and flow of the game is what makes her such a good point guard. She knows exactly when to pick her spots to attack and can score it from all three levels of the floor. Defensively she's just as important using her quickness and IQ to be a major factor on that side of the ball.

KJ is in the perfect system for her game surrounded by guards and wings that give her space to dominate in the paint. She takes advantage of one-on-one matchups and is a paint threat every time she touches the ball. She's also a force on the glass securing rebounds and limiting second-chance opportunities for the other team.

The spring season has been a big stage for 16U players to show how much they've developed their games. From new roles to expanded skill sets, these girls are stepping up and making a name for themselves early on. Here's a look at a few 16U players who have been standing out this spring.
