The Summit Shootout definitely brought out the shooters in the 17U bracket. Check out these long range shooters that had crazy range all weekend.    Being a good shooter isn't just about form and range. Confidence is very key when it comes to being a good shooter and Abby's confidence gives her all three. She has the form to hit shots off the dribble and coming off screens, there are definitely set plays for Abby to get buckets. Plus she has the range to extend defenses. She has the logo three in her pocket but Turk also knows when to give the shot fake and get an even better look at the basket for herself or a teammate. Abby also has the confidence to take the crucial shots her team needs in the key moments. This shootout was just the start for this sharp shooter.     Kenley is smooth all over the court, but as a shooter she really makes things look easy. As a smaller guard she has the strength and the handles to get herself to scoring spots. She can hit jumpers from 2pt range, off the dribble and from begind the arch. Addison sees the court and also comes off screens very well. This is dangerous for other teams because she can score coming off the screen but she can also see the next play, getting herself or her teammates a better scoring opportunity. The scoring capabilites of Addison, all over the court, will make her hard to guard through the whole summer.     Sahriah is a shooter, there is no other way to say it. She is always looking for her shot and that is a very good thing. She is a confident shooter from anywhere on the court. She is strong with the ball in her hands which makes her a threat for any defense. She can get to the paint for close jumpers and floaters. Anywhere around the paint, she can get buckets. Smith and her teammates are also looking for her shot from long range too. She has the range to be dependable from behind the 3pt line and in crucial game situations. Smith is go-to from all over the court, all summer.     Gehring is the type of shooter that can change a game. As a confident shooter she can get buckets from any where on the court, at any time in the game. From the jump ball, Alex comes out on fire. She can hit shots off the dribble, or off the pass within the offense very easily. Her range makes her hard to guard for any defense. But not just her range makes her dangerous because not only can she hit from 3pt, she can do it under pressure. She can do it off balance. She can do it from a play, or from her own creation. Watch for Alex to change games with her shooting all summer long.     Annika is a shooter, but if you think that is all this SG can do on the court, it is going to be a long game. She has the range, she can get buckets for her team from behind the arch consistently. She can be trusted with set plays to come off screens or the dribble and hit shots for the needed points. Van Dalen also has the handles to create for herself. She can come off the dribble, get to the paint or stop for the mid-range 2 points. Plus she is a great decision maker with the ability to find really good scoring opportunities for her teammates as well. Annika isnt just a shooter, she has the whole package to take on the summer exposure months.
